The 50th picture, it's a map preview with all my tiles, I'm still mapping, I'm well aware that there are empty places, and still tiling, and reworking the trees. Also everything is scratch but you can already assume that jk

You might want to go back and save those with the .png file format... If you take a close look at the .jpgs you've posted, you'll see that the colors are kind of weird and splotchy. Since it's a largely lossless format, most people prefer to save in .png, especially when it comes to things which have a low number of colors like sprites.

oh.. I see alright, I'll change the formats, Photobucket ruins it sometimes by changing .bmp to .Jpeg

And so I updated this finally.. lol

An update, in addition to some OW's I will change the Jpg's to PNG, the darn photobucket keeps converting BMP files..
These are all PNG, and also followed the crits about adding Chins, it's not .JPG, enjoy!
also.. be patient, I'll update the thread with another digital Oekaki drawing, these are done by a ball mouse.

The trees shading can be done a little bit better. The trainers are pretty good except for the fact that their heads are too small for their bodies.

Your overworlds are some of the best I've seen but your human battle sprites... the heads are way too small and the bodies are sort of awkward. Everything is disproportionate. Don't take this the wrong way, just try fixing your size issues and you'll have some pretty nifty sprites!

Also, remember to save in PNG not JPEG, to have the crisp, clear quality you want your sprites to have!

They are still in jpg. Once you save it and close it, there is nothing you can do, it will keep jpg even if you save it as png, because png keeps it the way it was opened or pasted. The only thing you can do is sprite them all again and save them in png.

However, you said you saved them as bitmap. Well, that's a lot better. My friend has the same problem as you: she makes great sprites, but she can't save as png, so she saves as bitmap and photobucket ruins them. I'd recommend a different image hosting website. Try imageshack and tinypic. =)
