Sorry if this is unallowed or anything, I didn't see it anywhere else...

And yes, I know it's a show and that it's not real and all but...

It's kind of been bothering me how pokemon are just taken away from their families, friends, and stuff on the anime and the games and things, never to see them again... >_<... They seem real happy to leave... but some just don't even say goodbye...

And yes, I know it's not real *AGAIN*, just wondering what other's opinions were on this...

I agree with you, really. And even if Pokemon isn't real, it's okay to think things like that... :C

The pokemon never really seem to care though. It's as if their families don't even exist.

Thanks, I just didn't want everybody to think i was crazed... ^_^

...Well, fish don't even have families since their mother lays many, many eggs and their father fertilizes them and then they both just leave. About three fouths of the eggs get eaten, and the ones that do hatch will probably get eaten as well. In the end, three or four survive, and they raise themselves until you catch them. Therefor, you aren't takening them away from a family; they never had one, really.

    Yay.

Yesss... but that's fish. Pokemon have emotions and stuff...

For some reason I just feel really sorry for them...

    *CRIES*

    I'm so emo...

Lw your right, but it is sad at first but now have a new family unless if people that capture them sell them for money

If it's that big an issue to you, then don't catch any wild Pokemon, XDDD.

    Couple reasons.

There a couple reasons for that. The big one is that its been a long time Japanese custom/belief to let the kids go when they become adults. Moreso than in America.. Understanding that kids need to move on in their lives to HAVE a life. This ideal would apply to the Japanese created Pokemon as well.

Now in the Anime theres another reason. Pokemon choose to get caught, only via Masterball, Shadow Balls and Mewtwo balls. Do they not have the choice.

Another thing, Maybe pokemon know they become immortal if they are in a Pokeball.. I mean take James's Carnivine (he so interestingly forgot when he was like 3 or something) Its still in top physical condition after X years of being stuck in its ball with flippen bottle caps. lol

Oddly never thought about this topic. lol
