Lloyd growled. "I'm Lloyd and I'm the one who is going to be protecting Colette and I won't charge someone to do it either!"

Colette was left speechless, she couldn't think of anything. She stood there, staring at them.

"You'll be happy, then, because you aren't the one who charged me anything. Phaidra is. I will be taking the Chosen into Martel Temple. You children will only get in the way."

"But I want Lloyd to come too!" Colette exclaimed, walking over to Lloyd's side, "I feel much safer when he's around!!"

Kratos crossed his arms and glared at Lloyd, noting the defiant look he was getting in return.
"...Lloyd...humph."

"hey what about me!My sister's stuck somewere in that temple..and I don't trust that Kratos guy..he's just so...copycat-ish.."

Lloyd looked up at Kratos. "I'm going to follow you and Colette into the temple no matter what you say, so should we get going now?" he asked with a slight smirk.

"Yup! Let's go now!" Colette exclaimed as she began marching into to the temple. "And Lloyd, try to be just a little bit friendlier, for me?"

 

[Phoenix Aurion]

"Well, then I guess you're going. But don't act foolish. This isn't a field trip, you know."
With one last frown, Kratos turned and led the way into the Temple of Martel.

Lloyd looked at Colette with a slightly surprised look. "Act friendlier? What do you mean by that?" he asked as he looked at Kratos. "Okay, okay, I get it," he told the stranger, then looking at Genis. "Come on, Genis. Let's get rolling!" he said.
