So I was training my Dragonair just outside of Blackthorne, and all of a sudden I decided to talk to it. It said it was holding something and that it wouldn't let me have it because it was too important. It also made angry faces at me when i tried to talk to it for a while... What could it be?

What are some other things that your pokemon have done?

Did you notice that if you take an Ampharos up to the lighthouse, that it says that your Ampharos is interested in Amphy?

Well, i only have playing Heart Gold for a week and i have a Larvitar in my team and suddenly when i talk to him, i was something like that: oh, is looking in your pocket, do you want to scold him?; and i think OMG i've a thief =P

Haha. That one makes me chuckle. I have a Pupitar on my team. I wish I could level it up faster, but there's no real good place to train for Clair.

My Snorlax was eating my shoes on the way to the Safari Zone...so apparently I have a mentally handicapped Snorlax. Terrific.

It's awesome that they added these things to the game. Makes it so much more enjoyable and funny.

As for that item, I haven't had that happen to me yet so I don't know what it could be. I always get shards and accessories from my Pokemon.

That happened with my Ponyta. I then put it in the daycare and when I walked away I got a call saying it was holding an egg!

I recently caught my Starmie eating people's food, and stealing money. O_o; It was kinda strange. It was later holding something that it wouldn't give me.

    So, yeah... >_>;

Haha, so basically putting the ability of talking to your pokemon was to emphasize that they're either smart thieves that steal from you and others, or that their retarded/bipolar and eat your shoes or get sad for a few secs then get happy all of a sudden the next moment. GameFreak you've really outdone yourself with this one.

I recall since Gold, Silver and Crystal that it was hard to overlevel your pkmns, i'm ok with that, i need challenge because pkmn are becoming so easy (at least in the main history). And i've to scold the little Larvitar, now is a good Pupitar =)

Pretty much all Ghastly does is stare at me whenever I talk to him. Pretty sure he's planning something.

It's hard to level in general. Is it just me or are the wild pokemon WAY too weak in HG/SS?

It's actually pretty easy to level if you're used to more challenging RPGs.

I mean it's okay, I just would of thought the wilds levels would be a bit higher that they are...but I guess that's why you can re-battle

I feel the same way sometimes. I'll turn on the game and then my pokemon will be gone with all of my belongings.

Well, you are right when you're saying that the pokemon are really low leveled.
It becomes pretty boring rather quick. :P

Very much so. But I guess it just makes battling higher leveled pokemon even more fun

That's what i always think that the battles in G/S/C (specially the Gym leaders battles) are epic because of the lack of overleveled pkmns that you have, you have to battle in equal circumstances, well this is what i think =)
But this is not the thread to talk about it haha, i have a Gengar that eat shoes too, i think this is fun, a little thing that make look the pokemons a little weird or dumb, but fun at least

Mayb its the shiny leaf. thats pretty precious and once a pokemon gets it, they put it on themselves. I got 3 on my Crobat so far.
