Tank Destroyer?

    I heard of a Banette being used to destroy tanks - please give me ur opinions
    Banette[+spatt, -def]
    EVs -Att 256, SpAtt 128,Sp 128
    knock off
    skill swap
    Hp fighting
    thunderbolt/night shade/Hp water/ice

    This is really risky - u have 2 skill swap the tank so they get insomnia and can't rest[i don't know if this actually works].Then u have to knock off their held item and finally sweep with ur attacking moves - Hp fighting for the blisseys out there.
    Not much thought was put into defensives as tanks are not ment to att though with this guy's bad defensives i would add in the EVs.

    Can someone help me with my torkoal

    I rarely see Banette, but Skill Swapping Insomnia on Pokemon that relies on rest a lot does work very well. Pokemon like Skarmory or Snorlax relies on them. However, some Pokemon uses Recover or Softboil, so Insomnia won't be much of a help in those cases.

    Banette accel in attack power. I'll rather stick with HP FIghting and Shadowball. Instead of knock off, I'll also use destiny bond to force the opponent to either switch to an indirect attacker (toxic/seed users), or a good sacrifice. Say you just send out Banette against a Snorlax, and you already swapped Skarmory (so you can't swap Snorlax). Now it's a good time to just bond it. If it kills you, then good job 2 tanks down (Skarmory without rest is VERY EASY to take down... gradually and eventually you'll get it.) If it cursed and didn't OHKO you with shadowball yet, then you'll have to decide rather to keep bonding it (not the best idea IMHO as Snorlax will just keep cursing in our example), or you switch out (hopefully you got your own tank then).


    Torkoal- I'll rather move some more defense EV into sp.attack with flamethrower, or physical attack with body slam, white herb + overheat.
     
    It doesn't make sense having an Adamant Torkoal and then giving it 128 Sp Atk EVs. If anything, give it a +Attack, -Speed nature.
