Which "tanks" are your favorite?

I like Tentacruel. It has such a high Special Defense that it is almost impervious to Special Attacks (most high-level Tentacrual require 2 hits from Thunder to kill them). "Clear Body" prevents the stat lowerance.

One of my favorite combos is Barrier + Mirror Coat. Use Barrier, provoking them to use a Special Attack which you then Mirror Coat them! Combine this with Rest and Confuse Ray and you have one s1Ck Poke'mon on your hands...

As for my favorite tank, they are either Milotic, Latias, Umbreon, Tentacruel, Dusclops, or Deoxys LG

This doesn't seem FR/LG exclusive so to movesets it goes.

And I like a good Weezing or Venasaur to tank =]

Tentacruel is nice, but Liquid Ooze works better for them over Clear Body. For Mirror Coat to work well, you often want to lower your Special Defence, because it's high enough to survive, and use Barrier to overcome the lower natural Defence.

Liquid Ooze can intercept incoming Leech Seed and Giga Drain attacks.

Tentacruel can't tank ._. What's it gonna tank against? Maybe surf and Ice beam, but everything else would deal pretty decent damage, especially if you're going with the standard Sub/SD/SB/Hydro set.

Anyways, Dusclops and Claydol are cool. Claydol looks like it can eat a lot :D

That's horrible... you shouldn't even give the 6 evs to sp attack. Blisseys should get bold natures. You might want to give just enough Evs to speed so it can outspeed other pokemon with that base stat of speed with 0 speed evs. 252 hp, 252 def, 6 sp def/sp att ... since you can use it anyway. Moveset is ok. Ice beam is better than thunderbolt though. Remember leftovers.

Blissey is crap period. While I do admit that I use that stupid egg **** when I get tired of getting the crap beat out of me by other Blisseys, I do NOT use her in any of my standard teams. Chancey was fine in RBY with her HP and Softboiled. Nintendo screwed up by making Blissey, with massive HP and Special Defense. And they REALLY made a broken Pokemon when they gave her Natural Cure. Same with Snorlax, Snorlax can be a wall or an attacker (most people choose the latter), and every game installment, Nintendo finds another way to make Snorlax even worse.

But anyway, Blissey, while it is undeniably the BEST wall in the game, its also the cheapest. She isn't technically an uuber, but her stats, movepool, and abilities make her just as powerful as one. I say if you have to use Blissey, its just as bad as using a Mewtwo.

Kids on Netbattle who use Blissey and BAN uubers should be shot.

Anyway, Milotic_is_the_best_non-legend_wall_evar.
