TCG Questions

    Hey guys im pretty new to pokemon as a whole but i have never done any of the TCG and would like to start. I kindoff want a starter deck with a water and electric theme. is there any i can buy in a local walmart that would be like this? I would like to get quick responses as I'm going tomorrow. Thanks guys!

    The reason no one had an answer overnight is likely because what's guaranteed to be at your local Wal-Mart does not combine those types. The only guaranteed theme decks at stores like Wal-Mart & Target are typically just the theme decks from the last 2, 3, or 4 sets depending on how much space they give to Pokemon cards. Well that and most of the world that's awake while America sleeps does not have Wal-Mart.

    There are a few theme decks that might be there, like the Bolt Twister deck from the XY Phantom Forces set, Frost Ray from the Black & White Plasma Freeze set, the Ice Shock deck from the Black & White Boundaries Crossed set, or the Blue Assault deck from the first Black & White set, but the newest of those, the one from the Phantom Forces set, was released 8 sets ago back in November of 2014.

    On the plus side, for most of its existence, the official packaging usually has had the energy symbols of the types used in the deck it contains somewhere on the box.
