    Hi! I decided to make a hack of Pokemon FireRed. The hack will have some Generation IV Pokemon like Drapion, Drifblim, Buizel, Gliscor and many more. The 3 Sinnoh starters will replace Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle. The reason for wanting to make this hack is because I wanted to play Generation IV on GameBoyAdvance. You may know that there's Pokemon Light Platinum, but I'm pretty stuck at that game so I decided to make my own.
    The name of this hack will be Pokemon Aluminium. I thought of this name because of Pokemon Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Diamond, Pearl, Platinum. These names is named after Crystal, Gold and so on. I had been thinking about the storyline for this hack but could not seem to get one idea. I am also bad in scripting and only know how to edit maps, import sprites and so on. You may think I'm bad but I'm only a beginner.

    I need:
    Scripters
    Mappers (in case I map it wrongly or badly)
    Beta tester (I need someone with sharp eyes for any errors)
    Storyline maker
    Title screen maker(I may learn how to make it)
    Music Composer (if your think you want new music)
    One person to find/create some good sprites for players, rivals, elite four and gym leaders
    Overworld editor
    Some more helpers
    Any person who think cannot do these things I listed but can do other things I have not listed

    You may think it is too much, but maybe i could do Beta testing myself. Title screen I could learn how. Overworld editor I'm not sure what it is but I heard some people saying they need it, so maybe I could have 1. Finding sprites I could maybe do it myself.
    I am inserting new Pokemon sprites from Pokemon D/P and making new maps.

    Wow i thought this team would be pretty dead lol... But i have to be honest, I have PSLE this year and sometimes may only do a little...

    I thought of a story line:
    You are a person going from the Hoenn region to the Sinnoh region to investigate the differences of the different Pokemon in the 2 regions. However, in the Sinnoh region, a evil gang called Team World tried to find the legendary Pokemon, Arceus, and force it to create a new world and destroy the old world. On your journey, you will encounter Diagla, Palkia and Giratina. The dragon trio will help you to stop Team World from waking Arceus and creating a new world.

    The Team World maybe could change name though... Also, if your think this storyline is too hard for you, you may change it though. Sounds a little like Platinum and D/P.

    Oh ya recently I have problems with the back sprites... Any advice?

    Also, what if we called it Team Universe/

    EDIT: I just thought of another name, Team Global.

    Hey! That's a good name. Oh ya I just found how to create title screens and I had change Charizard into Arceus, but I need to find a good background to replace... Any ideas?

    I thought that the storyline would be hard... Do your want to delete the meeting of Giratina, Palkia and Dialga?

    Oh yeah I need logos( replacing the Fire Red version to Aluminum version)

    I like your logo, Richar. I was thinking that for the background, we could use the Ruins of Alph location art. You know, since Arceus is related to the Unown. (Ripped by Latios Tamer).

    Also, how do you want the heroes to look? Are they gonna stay the same or are there new heroes?
     
    That looks good but maybe the Pokemon logo should be behind the aluminum logo.
     
    hey.. I'm sorry but the thing I used to insert the background and logo seemed to messed up... Also some part I don't understand... My photoshop expired and I've already download trial before and can't download... Anybody can take my place awhile while I go buy photoshop?
     
    Those look cool.

    @shadow: GIMP is a good alternative to PhotoShop and it's free. I use it myself and it's great. And what program are you using to insert the background? Is it unLZ.GBA?

    Here is a screenshot of the titlescreen that I did. I used DawnRyder's tutorial on hacking the titlescreen. Logo hacking was included but I think I can figure it out based on what I already know from the rest of the tutorial. Also, there are a few stray pixels around. The white pixel under Arceus is just a reference pixel and can be moved up so that it won't show. I don't know why the ones on the left are there. Also, the start button is acting weird. Trying to figure that one out also. I can send you a patch or something if you want to work on it.

    @TheRichar: could you maybe resize your image to like 256 x 192. Only like the logo and the background picture. I really like yours and it fits arceus well. :) but unfortunately, it is way too big to do anything with. :(

    I'm going to be trying to figure out those blocks on the left. Hope you have luck finding Photoshop. ^^

    The 'press start' is there, but when it blinks off a white rectangle takes its place. I read somewhere that it needs a separate palette but i don't understand what that means. I guess I should play around with it a little more. I had it working once but then the arceus sprite was distorted and when i fixed the arceus sprite, the press start started to act weird again. i wonder what i did different. i guess i could ask around. is there a help section here?

    Well, I don't know... But I've seen the Pokemon ShinyGold the background and the 'press start' doesn't move.. so maybe we could leave that alone.
     
    Cool. I've tried another one. I don't know where my first one went to... Anyways, the background is from an Arceus trading card. I'm going to ask about the "Press Start" button and those random pixels in the bottom-left corner. I'll try to find my first one. Let me know how this one goes. Also, I'm going to try to learn scripting and what not so that you could have some help with that. And I've been thinking of some ways to carry out the storyline you mentioned. Still waiting for TheRichar's title. Anyways, here's the title screen I just came up with:
