Team Crescent​

Welcome to Team Crescent. I'm Lunacrest, a spriter and storyline creator, and somewhat of a newbie hacker. I have tried many, many, many, many, did I say many, projects on my own, and I have come to realize that I need help. Pro or beginner, please join this team, as I think, with numbers great, we can make a great hack. I can sprite, but not do many of the things other people can do. Here, at Team Crescent, I'll make sure to implement everyone's ideas in one way or another. To be honest, I think I'll need all the help I can get. Please join, even if you're a beginner, or a pro. I will happily accept hack ideas, and put your hack in the Current Projects section.​

Pokemon Dark Crystalline
ROM Base: Pokemon Ruby​

This hack takes place in the new region of Skyen, where new Pokemon await. It's your best friend's 13th birthday, and Professor Luce presents your friend with a Pokemon. However, the evil crime syndicate Team Meta crashes the party, taking the three Pokemon from your friend. After you find them, you pick a Pokemon and battle the grunts, and when you defeat them, your friend gives you the option of choosing the Pokemon you want. Soon, your friend turns into your rival, and Team Meta moves on to more devious things. Eventually, tragedy occurs; your best friend's grandfather dies, and so your best friend joins Team Meta. They want to control the legendary Dracopath, the Psychic and Dragon-type Pokemon whose mind-bending power shaped up the Skyen Region. Soon, Team Meta achieves their goal, when soon, the legendary Dark and Dragon-type Pokemon Dravague appears to help you. Dracopath is controlled by none other than your rival himself, and you must defeat him to restore peace to the region of Skyen. After this incident, your rival sees that Team Meta has caused pain and misery throughout Skyen, and quits from the team.

Approved, but I can tell you right now that you probably won't get many members when you, as leader, will only be spriting and working on the storyline. For one thing, spriting is trivial in hacking, and while not everyone is good at it, a hack can be perfect without any new sprites/graphics at all.
Secondly, the storyline creator shouldn't really count as a position. If you plan on making a hack, you have to know what the story should be, given that you'd be the one starting the hack.

I'm not saying this to put you down or anything, but you may want to consider learning about another area of hacking, such as mapping or possibly scripting, so you'll have more of a substantial role in the hacking team. :)

After reading your comment, I had thought about it, and have decided to learn on Mapping. I do believe I can do it, so there's a position that is fulfilled.

I'm tempted to ask if I can join you; help you out, but the only problem is that I'm a complete and total newb when it comes to hacking. IE; I know nothing about anything.

I am, however, tempted to learn Tile Inserting and Scripting.
