Tha aim of this team was to use a bunch of retarded/metagame weak guys and make a decent team out of them. It has done ok so far, much better than i expected having lost like once, saying that i have only tested this on the pc server but oh well lol. I also was getting bored of stuff so wanted to use fun guys so i kinda want to keep with that theme really. It is kinda novelty, but it does work and others can attest to its effectiveness after watching me use this team. =P
If i can revenge kill, check or beat something with prediction it is not a problem so please dont theorymon to death, really i am a big boy now and can full well not get swept lol. I should not have to explain something like why i am not mixape weak lol. :/
This team plays all out offensively from the get go btw incase you didnt know. Meaning its not stall zomg !
Yanmega (M) @ Focus Sash ** I am uber like Cacturne
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 104 Def/152 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
☆ Air Slash
☆ Hypnosis
☆ Bug Buzz
☆ Hidden Power [Fire]
I wanted a lead to keep Stealth Rock off the field and if they did get sr up i wanted them to regret it. I basically attack first turn whilst they do something stupid like set up usually or Hypnosis if they are a slow lead like Swampert and get a free speed boost to nail what ever comes in which puts them on the back foot right from the get go. When played right, this guy SHOULD cripple or take out two pokes. Bug Buzz and Air Slash are non negotiable and get STAB (seriously ive seen retards drop one for Protect, you dont even NEED protect lol). Hidden Power Fire hits Skarm, Zong and lures in Scizor which is fun for this team which i WANT to happen early game, by luring in Scizor asap it helps ALOT with Slowbro and Weavile's jobs. 104 Defense EVs ensure that Meteor Mash followed by Bullet Punch from LeadGross will never KO, which is a huge asset to this Yanmega. Other notable achievements accomplished by the Def EVs include being able to stomach three of LO Scizor's Bullet Punches and two of CB Azumarill's Aqua Jets. :] Really this has been an MVP for me so far and has change my opinion drastically of this pokemon from "rofl SR" to "wait alot of teams cant actually handly this guy".
---
Slowbro (M) @ Leftovers ** My Iq is better than yours and so is my tail. ;]
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/6 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
☆ Slack Off
☆ Thunder Wave
☆ Surf
☆ Hidden Power [Electric]
I added this guy as a Gyarados counter mainly. Ive never used it before and so i wanted too. This guy doesnt really fear Scizor OR Pursuit as much as i once feared through play testing. The idea is to Slack Off first turn on Scizor because Scizor cant OHKO this guy anyway with anything to scout what it does and it will often get T-Waved on the switch in too. Slack off is the move that distinguishes this from other bulky waters and the instant heal is amazing. Thunderwave works well in crippling thing and thus helps Azu sweep better and hits the things i cant hurt much with my other moves, like mence. Surf is a standard fare and gets STAB so isnt getting replaced obv lol. Hidden Power Electric hits Gyarados. Slowbro also servers as a last minute sd Luke check too, i mean it cant OHKO with a SD LO boosted Crunch anyway even with sr up rofl another example of Crunch not beating what its supposed to on Luke sets. :/
---
Electivire (M) @ Expert Belt ** Nice mom you have there. ^.^
Ability: Motor Drive
EVs: 42 Atk/216 Spd/252 SAtk
Mild nature (+SAtk, -Def)
☆ Cross Chop
☆ Flamethrower
☆ Thunderbolt
☆ Hidden Power [Ice]
I figured with nothing on this team being able to take T-Waves and have 3 electric bait pokemon, "why not?" lol. No one expects this anymore and its kinda hilarious when he gets in an M-Drive boost and my opponent is like "oshi". This set is better than all physical anyway since it is walled by less and generally hits harder. Not alot to say really, but he is fun to use and the way people now fling electric attacks around is very interesting. The speed evs beat adamant Lucario and Hippowdon DOES actually struggle walling this guy amazingly with SR up.
---
Weavile (M) @ Life Orb ** An ice weasel ? Yeah scraping the barrel gf much ?
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk/6 Def/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
☆ Brick Break
☆ Swords Dance
☆ Night Slash
☆ Ice Shard
I wanted a late game sweeper and something to revenge kill dragons and this guy popped up. Swords Dance boosted hits from this are pretty powerful and alot of teams strangely cant handle this once their Scizor gets lured and destroyed by Yanmega. ^^ Its actually pretty nasty late game, a Swords Dance boosted Ice Shard does quite a bit of damage, it strips around 40% from Lucario despite being resisted which is fun if its weakened and can strip ~75% from the standard Heracross i mean its not the best but it does more than i expected lol. Brick Break hits the obvious steel switch ins so i often do this first turn, i mean it doesnt do much (70% to Heatran with an unboosted BB...lol:/) but its there. Night Slash is its most reliable STAB move and helps this team with Celebi, Cress etc. He is also fun to set up on Pursuits and stuff too.
---
Azumarill (M) @ Choice Band ** Another rodent ? Great.
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 212 HP/252 Atk/44 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
☆ Aqua Jet
☆ Waterfall
☆ Return
☆ Ice Punch
I dont remember why i put this guy here, but he isnt retarded or even metagame weak like the other guys its actually really good haha. I believe i put it here because of Mixape lol but yeah. My second mvp for this team and another pokemon that makes my opponent go "oshi" as soon as it comes in. It hits like a train (it has 654 att with a CB rofl) and really nothing likes taking hits from this, period. Aqua Jet preys of frail sweepers and is often my insurance policy vs alot of threats. Waterfall for reliable STAB and makes even things like Skarmory shudder. Return + Ice Punch round of this sets coverage, Return for neutral coverage and other waters and Ice Punch for dragons and Celebi. Most people often forget how bulky this thing is too.
---
Heatran (M) @ Shuca Berry / Choice Scarf ** Who knows wtf i am.
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
☆ Explosion
☆ Stealth Rock
☆ Fire Blast
☆ Earth Power
Shuca/Lure tran, ok i lied when i said this team was full of metagame weak dudes lol. Easy lure for bulky waters and dragons to help with Azu Aqua Jet sweep. =P Heatran is easy to switch in on things like Scizor and it causes alot of switches too mainly when i bluff a scarf. Not much to say really lol. Oh yeah it takes Outrages and Meteors too for the team and checks mence in a pinch too with the shuca. Currentl using Shuca considering Scarf if Lucario becomes an issue, but as of yet it hasnt been because he cant switch in or set up on anything. It also cant OHKO Azu with SD LO ES so yeah. :3 Also no i am not leading with this, Yanmega is staying where it is because of the sr weak.
---
Yes i know i have no scarfers, but yanmega + t-wave + priority more than make up for this lol
Do i win yet ?
