i didnt feel like making a totally new sprite for me, i mean, ill do it for my hack since i have total approval and if i can be in the e4 i will make myself a totally new sprite not a lance rip-off

Hey Red, Necro, Cool it. Frustration is contagious, no need to be crticial, and personally it wasn't spam he was basically stating a fact. Besides, it is his job to come up with sprites, so if he posts an already made one, he knows what he's doing. Blah blah blah trust yadda yadda yadda.

My map is finished and as i said it is a rout leading on to a city of stone were the rock gym leader could be found also the part of rock in the middle could be were you catch soodowoodo as it is in a forrest near rocks and soodowoodo is a rock type that thinks he is a tree pleez rate on idea and map and critisise were critisism is needed thanks :)

please make them youtube files first, my computer has like, 240 gigs full and downloading more files wont help me

overworld sprites of hero non-rockets coming
male will most likely be a recolor
female will most likely be an edited hair-recolor
these becuse if i were to make my own, it would turn out almost the exact same...
any, original characters you want? like a really complicated gym leader? XD

I will listen to your music when I have some time; I just wanted to get on and see how everyone is doing.
To answer your question, Necro, Rio and I did talk about putting the team into the game in some way. I'll have to get back to you on that though, I don't know for sure.

well, hes ash, its near impossible to make an original ash, so i just SLIGHTLY edited this sprite, and made its coloring less paletted, and whalla, here you go. the left ash is more ROM compatable, but looks worse XD

i went off of the left picture, and took bits of dawn for our Kris's body, and it turned out pretty nice!

and BTW arent those trainer sprites also battle sprites?

First off, Kris looks ok, but you left out her hat that's very easily visible in the left picture. If the player has played Crystal Version before, it will help for her to have the hat so she can be easily recognized.
While I'd prefer to have new sprites, I agree that we don't technically need a new sprite for Gold since there's that one. Just make sure to credit who you got it from.

I have a major problem with Ash, that style of art won't fit in with the game at all. If he's going to be in our FireRed rom hack, then he needs to look like a FireRed character.

And about your Elite Four character, we'll have to see. I don't know for sure yet if we will add anyone from the team in.
