POKEMON GOTHIKA!

What is Pokemon Gothika?

Pokemon Gothika is a rom hack (obviously)

What is it about? (a basic run-down of the story)

Pokemon Gothika version is set in pallet town many many years into the future!

Oak has passed away sadly...leaving his grandson gary oak to pick up where oak left off, so gary is the new professor, he is no longer an imature 10 year old all about winning, he has grown into a mature man.

Ash's mother moved to the sinnoh region and Ash himself is still a traveller, discovering new pokemon and regions in order to become a pokemon master.

so, you move to pallet town (which has since red and blue days has grown in population).

you move next door to gary oak, where you meet your rival for the first time!

your rival is a boy named Grey Oak, he dreams of becoming the worlds greatest pokemon trainer just as you do, and has his fathers ego.

you go to the Lab to meet gary to receive your first pokemon, Grey goes with you.

gary oak explains about what it felt like for him the day he became a pokemon trainer, and after some rambling on, he explains to Grey that he has a special pokemon for his son, an Eevee, the very first pokemon he had!

after looking at you, Gary becomes shocked! (reasons currently un-known) and explains to you about a boy he once knew who lived in the very house you live in.

he then proceeds to mention that that boy was given a pikachu as his first pokemon, and as his sons rival, it only seemed fitting to give you a pikachu in tradition.

Grey gets an Eevee, you get a pikachu!

You and Grey set off for viridian city to earn your first gym badge!


About the Gym Leaders
All the Gym leaders (except blaine) have either grown old and retired or passed the gym on to a new leader!

this will allow interesting new stories and plots in the game!

About team rocket and team gothika!

Team rockets Giovanni has completely neglected all forms of team rocket, once again, it's admins pick it back up.

Team rocket realize that mewtwo must still be out there, and they wished to capture mewtwo in order to finish Giovanni's work, with a man made pokemon capable of destroying the world at their disposal they could become as powerful as they wish!

now team gothika on the other hand, are more secretive, they have been lurking patiently with their scientists who have been working on a machine.

they have created a device that allows them to tap into the inner evil of a pokemon and bring out it's darkness, allowing shadow pokemon to rise!

problem was it was a small scale device, in which they would have to use on each individual pokemon, this was a problem

so Gothika began working on a machine that could make the machine work on a mass scale, shrouding pallet town in darkness, releasing all the shadow pokemon in 1 hit.

they also have a device to control the shadow pokemon, with the ability to call the power of every and any wild pokemon, they would be un-stoppable!

you aim to stop both teams, saving the world
