Team Galactic has to be the most incompetent evil force in the Pokemon Games thus far. Let's look at them...
Evil Plan:
Summon a Pokemon that controls time/space, keep it controlled without a Pokeball to keep its full power, and recreate the world as a deity. Now see, this is actually all find and dandy. But the execution is lacking... Letting the hero release the psychic trio which made you the device to control the time/space ruler. Common sense says they could stop you using the power you made from them! And perhaps a Pokeball could have been made that wouldn't limit Dialga/Palkia, like if it was made from the crystals harvested.
Pokemon:
Let's see what Pokemon the Galactic force uses. ... Wurmple. At level 40. What. The. Crap?!!?! How moronic is that?! Wurmple, Silcoon, Cascoon, and the like that late in the game is suicide! Not to mention, some of their personal choices of Pokemon... "Oh hello. We're an evil team bent on creating a new world and will stop at nothing to reach our goals. ... Go Beautifly!" Beautifly is not evil! Gaah! The only good Pokemon they had was the boss' Gyarados, and only cause Giga Impact killed one of my Pokemon. And the constant Zubats/Golbats got really, really, really, really annoying.
Leadership:
Three commanders and the boss. The three commanders can't think of original names, so they take planet names, or rather, they probably copied off of Sailor Moon. One of them disappears entirely eventually. The boss, although he has the needed traits of an evil leader, lacks common sense. Sure, let's give him a Master Ball. Sure, let's go free the psychic trio. Sure, let's allow my "gruntiest of the grunts" and the two Sailor commanders who have already failed miserably twice each (how in the world did they capture the psychic trio?!?) guard me while I conclude my evil plan!
Where is my Team Rocket return? Where is Giovanni? Come on Nintendo, give us a Gold/Silver/Crystal sequel with Team Rocket, Johto, Kanto, and possibly reveal the secrets behind Giovanni and the G/S/C rival. At least Team Aqua and Magma, suicidal plans aside, could get some things done right and had menacing Pokemon...
