Though my time will be limited due to my studies.. I'll try to do everything as long as I am able, and my time permits me to do so.

Personally I would like to do the stories,(Mythologies, and the events it self.)and also the NPC scripts. Will that be okay?

For the new gameplay system, I would like to have a talk with the mapper, and you too Dark. I would like to share to you my ideas.

Here are the following changes that will happen..(Approved by Dark)

First stop, do you guys think that Galamyth will be a fine name for this project? Please state your answer if you have other ideas in mind.

Second, we'll use custom/different tiles for the game. (This is the response to the "stunning graphics" that Dark wanted to have in this hack.)

We will repost the story due to modifications.

Djanu is now degraded from being a region, into a Sevii island-like status in the game. Galamyth will now be taking place in the Continent of Jinon.
 
ok i think the name is fine and want to read the story after its new.... i cant wait to map w/ new tiles. and well like i said i can make fakemon if needed
 
I'm not trying to add myself to the team here, I just think that there's a little that needs to be said: Make. Scratches!

I just take a little overview of those pokémon of yours and think to myself: that is not new pokémon!
I can find the pokémon you've typeshifted/recoloured/changed in any way in every single sprite you've made.
That makes the fame look like a half-hearted attempt to make a new generation, which I know it's not supposed to be.
But a lot of those pokémon look downright unnatural and I see the pokémons which has been used for them clearly.
Furthermore, some of them aren't really that great.

I think it's a shame that you have such creative ideas if people don't want to play the game, and to be honest, these sprites makes me wanna ignore it.
Make some scratches with original-looking pokémon.
It'll be hard and take a long time, but I am almost certain it will pay off.
I really hope you can do better that this!

I'm looking forward to the new Galamyth. Also, now that it's been changed a fair bit, how about the name 'Neo Galamyth'?

AlfaT, what if some people can't scratch? It was Dark's opinion to make fusions and no offence, but you have/had no say in the matter. Also, if you want to contribute, use constructive criticism via the complement sandwich (Start with something good, then what you could improve on and finish with something good again.) rather than full out slating.
 
i agree with alfaT it is needed the game will look well stupid mainly cause of the sprites... however i can make some sprites for you so the game can be better and i know a couple poeple that would gladly help make 150 new sprites pretty quickley.... without needed credit.. but you could give credit..... like i sadi straight fakemon are best and normal pokemon are ok.. but the pokemon you got are well.......stupid
 
Man,I kinda expected that kind of post.
Well I can understand why people want to have scratches instead of simple recolourings.THough the problem for me is that I dont have any talent for making scratches or will never have.
I am also too proud to let other people make scratches for me cause then I would make other people do things for me and otherwise I would feel useless and that this thread would have any significanse anymore.
 
yea but it dont matter on pride i know what you mean in that case but you would have alot more pride in a finished game with great sprites tiles and story then one with great tiles story and bad sprites
 
I agree with Dark on this one. It would make him feel useless if other people are doing all of the work...

Fine,Ill go in on your proposition but if it could be possible can you let the concepts stay.
Also cause I want to do at least something I will work on the story line together with Leach and also I will be the person in charge of the stats and movesets.
