Intro:

Hello everyone! my name is Verde and
welcome to the Team Gold thread! This thread is about the upcoming
game I am trying to create and you could be a part of it too!
I would love all kinds of hackers! All are welcome and appreciated

If you have played pokemon gold or any remakes or even heart gold,
that would be great but if you haven't just come and join the team!
I really appreciate anyone who will join the team and I thank you!
Here are some minor guidelines I have if you would like to join Team Gold.

1. Would like if you spent as much time as you could on it
(don't skip homework or anything though) Just try to work
on the game as much as possible.
2. Treat other members fairly, don't cut them down if they mess up
maybe just give them feedback on how to do it better, no need for like
YOU SUCK! :) jk
and last but not least
3. Have fun and if you have any ideas just let me know ! I would be glad
to take any new ideas for this game to make it as awesome as possible !

SO, now that we got some guidelines down and know what team this is
lets get to business and go to the thread!!!
Story Line:
Well the story line goes as pokemon gold
started off. You, the player start in a place known as New Bark Town. You wake
up and walk downstairs to find your mom who gives you your pokegear. She then
tells you that the neighborhood Professor, Professor Elm needs you to do a little
task for him.
After you talk to him he gives you a pokemon and you go to do the errand. Well
since this is a hack, While you are going to Mr.Pokemon's house and you pass by
Cherrygrove city on route 30, you notice something peculiar... In the sky you see a blur
of green and then you hear a voice...a deep voice that you think said...you...are...the...one
....You continue your errand not knowing what to think you find Mr. Pokemons house and
get what is a pokemon egg from him. You then talk to the one and only Professor Oak
and he gives you a pokedex. You then leave the house when Professor Elm calls you to
come back to New Bark Town. While you are heading back you see something else on
route 30. 3 blurs of red blue and yellow light and then you hear a voice again...
We are the three...guardians of the ancients that live on this world...Hear us young one
we need your help to protect this planet from a terrible catastrophe that is planned
to happen...
You see blurs of light again and then it starts raining hard rain...

SO this is some extra parts so far but of course it follows most parts of Pokemon gold
but there will be more features than this. If you have any ideas like I said CONTACT ME!

Hey peeps of the internet! any asmers out there? I want to incorporate a music system where there is revamped pokemon gold music but then you can also play the original. Any one know how?

You actually don't need ASM for that there is a program called sappy or something like that that will let you put in music files to the game

Alright thanks luxray :D the thing I wanted to incorporate with that though is a system in Liquid Crystal that is used. Its like it has the new revamped music then it has a item that is called gb sounds. The gba sounds item can play the original music track. Its pretty awesome but maybe I don't need asm?

alright varion! you are part of the team! I don't know if you read all the posts in this thread but so you know how to make a item that can play different music? that would be a feature I would love to implement cause then there could be gb sounds :D

I wouldn't know how to do that.
I only insert music, I don't do scripting or ASM to benefit music.
