Team Help

[Atomic Pirate]

My planned team for White is in my signature. My friends keep telling me I should keep my Emboar in this (it's still a Pignite). Should I keep my Emboar, or not. Personally, I think it would be more of a hindrance than help, but what do you think?

Dependant, starter pokemon are always useful and Fire + Fighting is useful in this game and Emboar's move pool is very adaptable to what a team needs. If anything was to be replaced by it, probably Braviary as from personal experience, it takes forever to evolve it, arrives late in game and isn't that useful for the Elite 4 and co (only useful against Marshall, which Beheeyem covers fine and N flat out murders it with rock and ice types). It is your team though and Braviary is very powerful when it does eventually evolve (sheer force FTW).
