So I have a strong basis of a team, but my original, which ran Greninja...well, Greninja is now Ubers. And this team is an OU Sandstorm team.

With no Greninja, I have literally no answer for Heatran, and lack an answer to Garchomp too. His water and ice moves were fast and strong. I tried Cloyster, but Heatran used Ancientpower to OHKO me, and is faster. Without Greninja, my team is too open.

I need something to close this gap BAD.

    Amoonguss @ Black Sludge
    Ability: Regenerator
    EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
    Modest Nature
    - Spore
    - Clear Smog
    - Sludge Bomb
    - Giga Drain

    Tyranitar @ Tyranitarite
    Ability: Sand Stream
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
    Jolly Nature
    - Earthquake
    - Stone Edge
    - Crunch
    - Dragon Dance

    Talonflame @ Leftovers
    Ability: Gale Wings
    EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
    Impish Nature
    - Bulk Up
    - Brave Bird
    - Roost
    - Flare Blitz

    Excadrill @ Air Balloon
    Ability: Sand Rush
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
    Adamant Nature
    - Iron Head
    - Earthquake
    - Rapid Spin
    - Swords Dance

    Hippowdon @ Smooth Rock
    Ability: Sand Stream
    EVs: 252 HP / 72 Def / 184 SpD
    Careful Nature
    - Earthquake
    - Whirlwind
    - Stealth Rock
    - Slack Off

Those are the 5 I have, which is solid in its type coverage. Despite being vulnerable to Sandstorm, both Amoongus and Talonflame have per turn recovery, which negates it, and when it fades, keeps them strong. Mega-Tyranitar and Hippowdon are the keys, since they have the Sand Stream. Excadrill is good as an anti-entry, plus synchronizes thanks to Sand Rush. It's like Choice Scarf, without the lock. Too fast, too strong.

I thought maybe just running choice t-tar, instead of mega, and using Mega Gyarados, but still, it lacks everything I need. Slowbro was another option, but his lack of speed is troublesome. Psychic gives him the added help, taking care of Fighting counters that would hurt T-tar...idk.

    I need help, big time.

Earthquake Latios makes a good lure to KO unsuspecting Heatran. It also revenges non-Scarf Garchomp nicely:
    -Draco Meteor
    -Psyshock
    -Earthquake
    -Defog/Roost
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 252 SAtk/4 SDef/252 Spe
    Item: Life Orb

Amoonguss should be physically defensive (Bold with 252 HP/136 Def/120 SDef helps).
