[PokeCommunity.com] Team Metal GEAR (Offensive Team)

    (Azelf) @ Focus Sash
    Ability: Levitate
    EVs: 212 Atk/252 Spd/44 SAtk
    Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def)
    - Stealth Rock
    - Explosion
    - Psychic
    - Thunderbolt/Fire Blast

Typical suicide lead, set up Stealth Rock and weaken the opponents lead, this lead has proven to be more effective than the lead I had before.

I am debating on whether i should use Thunderbolt or Fire Blast.

[PokeCommunity.com] Team Metal GEAR (Offensive Team)

    Gyarados @ Life Orb*****Serpentry
    Ability: Intimidate
    EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
    Jolly nature (+Spe, -SAtk)
    - Dragon Dance
    - Ice Fang
    - Stone Edge
    - Waterfall

Erh, I really don't need to explain this, set up and sweep, Gyarados is one of my all time favorites cause he just hits so many things and can really cripple a team when it gets a Dragon Dance.

I have my reasons for using Jolly nature

[PokeCommunity.com] Team Metal GEAR (Offensive Team)

    Infernape @ Life Orb***** Kyo
    Ability: Blaze
    EVs: 4 HP/252 ATK/252 SPD
    Jolly Nature (+Spe, -SAtk)
    - Close Combat
    - Fire Punch
    - Swords Dance
    - Stone Edge

I love this thing, he is real besat if he manages to get a Sword Dance, I have swept so many teams with him it is not even funny anymore.

I use Fire Punch and Thunder Punch over Flare Blitz and Stone due to accuracy and recoil damage, even though I lose a bit of power, this ensures that I am able to hit pokemon that would otherwise tear him apart, Jolly Nature hits 345 which helps me outspeed and 1HKO Yache Garchomp which really helps.

[PokeCommunity.com] Team Metal GEAR (Offensive Team)

    Metagross @ Lum Berry*****Metallica
    Ability: Clear Body
    EVs: 112 HP/184 ATK/212 SPD
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Bullet Punch
    - Pursuit
    - Explosion
    - Earthquake

While using this set, I have an answer to Gengar and Deoxys - E, really simple, I switch in on Gengar or Deoxys E, they switch out, I pursuit and they are dead, this thing has really helped me gain the upper hand against people that use Gengar or Deoxys - E as a lead, most Deoxys - E leads I have faced have been offensive leads, I don't know how well he would do against the DS set though.

[PokeCommunity.com] Team Metal GEAR (Offensive Team)

    Gengar @ Life Orb*****Spire
    Ability: Levitate
    EVs: 4 HP/ 252 SPA/ 252 SPE
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Shadow Ball
    - Thunderbolt
    - Focus Blast
    - Hypnosis

This set manages to take out most of the threats that harm this team, mainly Starmie and some sweepers, Tyranitar was here but decided this set helps this team more.

[PokeCommunity.com] Team Metal GEAR (Offensive Team)

    Deoxys - E @ Life Orb
    Ability: Pressure
    EVs: 152 ATK/ 252 SPA/ 104 SPE
    Naive Nature (+Spe , -Spd)
    - Shadow Ball
    - Ice Beam
    - Thunderbolt
    - Superpower

I really hope Deoxys - E stays OU for years to come, this is what has made my team succeed.

I use him when my opponents team is weakened for a late game clean up, Super Power 2HKOs Blissey, and the rest of the team is finished off with Thunderbolt, Ice Beam and Shadow Ball, not really anything to say, this guy has forced my opponents into submission.

    Conclusion

Rate/Fix/Comment, this is your run of the mill offensive team, I like this team very much, its one of my favorite teams, if you want to copy it, feel free to do so.

    IMO,
    Aerodactyl
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
Aerodactyl base speed is high enough you wont outspeed ninjask

    Gyarados
    EVs: 72 HP / 252 ATK / 184 Spe
offensive EV spread is better for this set.

    Infernape
replace Fire Punch with Fire Blitz, Fire Blitz has 100 accuracy too.

I didnt read the stone part >_>

I am not aiming to outspeed and kill Ninjask, the reason I am using a Jolly is so I can get Stealth Rock out as quick as possible, this one is not built for attacking, he is a suicide lead. :)

On Gengar I would scarf him for a faster hypnosis.

I also recommend Meteor Mash>> Explosion on Metagross for a more powerful STAB than priority Bullet Punch.

    LO DD Tar weak.

Infernape needs Flare Blitz. With a 307 Attk stat, it's not killing anything with Fire Punch. Recoil damage doesn't matter too much, when you have crappy defenses that can't take a full hit anyways.

Also, Thunderpunch is kind of useless imo. The bulky waters that its supposed to hit, live thorugh a SD Thunderpunch and OHKO back with STAB Surf. Stone Edge provides a much higher BP while still hitting Flying types.

Also, Azelf opens you up more to DD LO Tar. I would scarcth out Infernape and bring in CB Machamp to stop Tar from killing you. Machamp is going to hit a lot harder than ape.

A boosted LO fire punch will kill Skarmory, Jirachi and Celebi, I am going for accuracy and no recoil damage just incase Sandstorm or Hail is out, if I didn't care about that, I would have Stone Edge and Flare Blitz on him.

I am not scraping him, DD tar gets handled easily by this team, he is not a threat, the only time he is a threat is when I am dumb enough to allow him to set up which will never happen when I am playing, I make sure he is scared away so I myself set up or sweep.

Personally don't like SSRLs, a Rapid Spinner means you've essentialy wasted a team slot.

Fire Punch is not used on Infernape for a REASON. When you have paper defences, are you really gonna care about recoil anyway?

And you NEED a counter to T-tar. Hariyama or Machamp do well here.
