Hi, I'm not really here to join the team but I do have a story suggestion. It might not be very good but you can decide. My idea is as follows:

For years scientists have been trying to prove the existance of the Celestial Birds (more on that in a minute) creatures of legend that are said to posscess mystical powers. (hence the term "mystic" in the title) Though most deem the story nothing more than legend, a few believers set out to find solid evidence of these birds. Nearly 10 years later when hope seems to be lost and the funds of the scientists are beginning to run dry, a glimmer of hope appears. A mere flash of silver is all it takes to get the scientists to look again. The flash of silver led them to a small, barely visable island, in fact it was invisable until they were within a few miles and it would be impossible to see it from the air unless if you were barely above the mountaintops of the island. There the scientists found a great supply of metals that were familliar, such as silver, platinum, and gold, but they were much more dense, and brighter. After weeks of exploration they found the resting place of the Silver Bird, one of the Celestial Birds, and it was eve more magnificant than anyone could imagine. Months passed, the general public (or anyone besides the scientists) still had no idea what had been discovered, that was because the scientists decided it was best to leave the location secret until the Birds could be properly protected. Soon enough, the scientists found the Brids of Gold and Diamond, the remaining Celestial Birds. Still, the scientists kept the islands secret because they didn't have enough money to prtect the islands. But one greedy person revealed the location of the islands in hopes of becoming rich, and to take credit for the islands' discovery. This, of course, attracted people to islands near the Celestial Islands, as the scientists called the Bird's homes. Some even built their own machanical islands. Sure enough, the greedy scientist got what he want and became rich. (which I will explain why that matters later) So, after years of living near the birds and having seen them quite a few times (the hero is also born and whatever age they are when they embark upon their journey at this point in time) people who have wanted the Birds for whatever reason have joined together into three groups. One group is in it for fame and fortune, another to become rulers of their nation ( they want to do this because they feel society has turned their backs on them simply because they weren't part "important people" who ruled the land because of their ancestory) and the third, led by none other than the greedy scientist, want to harness their power and basically become gods. They can do theis because the leader can afford to create machines to do his work, genitcally enhance pokemon (which the player will eventually have to utilize) and to form an army. Out of these, the third group is the biggest threat, operating in secret and using their power to their advantage. Logically, a resistance is formed. The player is inspired by this and wants to help, but is too young to be a part of the resistance. But by a stroke of luck (or so it seems) others know about their sadness of not being able to help and take them into their own organization, not knowing it is really the third group who want to get all competition out of the way.(the leader of the organization convinces the player that the Resistance are evil and want the Birds so they can use them as slaves.) So the player chooses their Pokemon and must undergo training. After completing it they are chosen to go to the Silver Celestial Island. The player, and many others approach the island in a high-tech helicopter that is nearly silent and invisable on radar. However, a chopper from the Resistance spots them and shoots them down. Somehow, the player survives. The next portion of game is going around the island. However, the player is not alone, the island is inhabited with Resistance members and colonizers who will challange the player to battles. To the colonizers, it is a sport, to the Resistance, it's their job. While the Resistance puts up a fight, the colonizers stand no chance against the player's genetically enhanced Pokemon. Once the player re-establishes connection with the third organization he is free to continue the mission, and is told reinforcements are on their way. Before and after this the player can catch the wild Pokemon of the island, using both their intial Pokeballs and ones they buy at stores. Venturing forth things only get tougher with fewer and fewer towns and more unexplored regions covered with dense growth and no paths until eventually the player is alone in the wild and must rely more and more on berries to heal their Pokemon. The player will come in contact with explorers on occasion. They will charge high prices for supplies, but there may be no other opportunity to buy items for some time.(healing would be done by going to distinct "safe zones" where the player may rest for one in-game day) Only adding to the difficulty there are more Resistance members, and no colonists, nearly forcing the player to train on the decent-leveled wild Pokemon (by decent-leveled I mean pokemon whose level will be a few levels below what the player's Pokemon should be if they didn't grind levels) finaly the player reaches the resting place of the Silver Bird (explained later) there they set off a signal flare that only "friendly" (meaning on the player's team at the time) technology can see and detect on radar. (except it is an actual flare so it emits visable light, dim, but visible) But, of course, it is heavily gaurded so the player must fight off a lot of the Resistance, but not all of it because the reinforcements arrive during the fight. Finally, the Resistance is beaten off, with prisoners taken, including the commanding offcer. The leader of the reinforcements soon announces that the leader of the operation has contacted him and told him that the Silver Bird has been captured by the helicopters that were sent out to retrive the Bird, for it flew away upon the arrival of the reinforcements. He also says that the Birds are being relocated because other Resistance members got word of the battle at Mt.Shining.(explained later) So the forces head to the Celestial Gold Island because the Diamond Bird had already been taken by the Resistance. The second part of the game is similar to the first for a time. It is alike to the first because the player is travelling towards the resting place of the Gold Bird. Only this time they are travelling with groups of the organization members.(You can add in some characters that become friends with the player here, which is what I would do, but you need someone else for that because I am not good at writing characters.) The group must travel on foot because there is too much antiaircraft units on the island. However, the group, who are supposed to be stealthy, are discovered and taken captive. (At this point you might want to kill off any character(s) you don't want for the rest of the game) They do this instead of killing them because they know the group has valuable information of the organization's plans and of the location of the Silver Bird. After being tortured for days the player finds their escape opportunity. For the Gold Bird is very powerful, proud, and demands freedom, so when the Resistance tried to transport the Bird, it wasn't happy. It went on a rampage and just so happend to get to the prison the player is being held at. The Resistance, now trying to wear the Bird down until it can be drugged and carried away, again it doesn't take kindly to this. A misfire by the Gold Bird hits the prison, causing an explosion that knocks the player unconscious, but alive. Upon waking the prison is completly wrecked, the player quickly finds their Pokemon and continues onward. They don't try to find the others, hardly anyone survived the explosion, and who knows how many were killed beforehand. Plus, the rampaging Gold Bird could still be close by. With no equipment to contact anyone, no signal flares to get attention, and no idea where they are the player advances in what they only hope can be the direction to a town. Soon, the player encounters a Resistance patrol, they go into hiding. A member near the back sees movement and goes to investigate. The player, still weakened from the explosion is discovered and must battle the Resistance member. After the battle, organization members come to the player's aid. For a helicopter had been searching the area for survivors with thermal optics. The only reason the player was found was because the battle they were in created a larger heat signal. The player is informed the Gold Bird is in Resistance control and is flown back to the organization base. There the player is promoted for their victories in battle and their contribution to the war. But they also witness the leader's true intentions as they accidentally sees the leader using a new machine to drain the Silver Bird of it's power to charge new machines and constantly taking blood samples so he can get DNA to be infused with Pokemon to make them stronger. The player is horrified by this and realizes what they have really been doing this whole time, and determine they are the only one who can stop it. The player knows that there is going to be an assault on the Resistance's main operation base at Celestial Diamond Island. Using their rank to their advantage the player coaxes a pilot that they are on a secret mission to obtain data and need to get to Celestial Diamond Island right away. The pilot believes them. The player then can stock up on supplies and train their Pokemon for as long as they want. Once they choose to continue they set up an ambush where the leader will be. (for the leader himself will go to war.) They wait patiently for the leader to show, but he is guarded. Luckily they are sent foward into the battle. Then the player attacks the leader, after some diologue exchange the battle begins. After that the leader is down to his last resort and sends forth the Silver Bird, now corrupted. The Silver Bird makes quick work of the player's Pokemon, which are all killed. The player makes a quick escape and, in a last desperate attempt, goes to the Resistance base. The leader is to preoccupied with the battle at hand to follow. The Resistance has already loosed the Gold and Diamond Birds, which the player manages to steal from their owners by taking a weapon from a dead soldier. Using the powers of the Birds the player defeats the Silver Bird, which is killed and dissloves into Lunar Residue. As this happens, time itself stops, but the player can still move around, most likely because of their contact with the Lunar Residue (explained later) the Gold Bird then shrieks out in agony and explodes into Solar Residue, the Diamond bird does the same, becoming Shining Residue. The Residues float into the player's hands as time resumes. The force of the explosion is felt as it completly obliterates everything within a large radius. The player remains unharmed, the organization members flee, knowing they have lost. While the Resistance members stare in wonder. The opinions are divided, some accuse them of murdering the Celestial Birds, while others applaud them for defeating the organization. The player, frozen with winder and disbelief is carried away to be trialed. But not before the residue floats out of the player's hands and form into their Pokemon, revived and healthy. The player is judged innocent and it is thought the Birds gave their lives in order to save the world. The player is given back their Pokemon and greeted by their mother, whom they had left without word. They are flooded by her mixed emotions of rage, worry, and joy. The player is made a Resistance general and is given a Medal of Honor. (only changed a bit so it is not exactly like the one the US awards, but honors similar things) There is an addtional part that isn't necessary to put in where the player enters a contest of the best trainers in the world where the prize is a large sum of money, fame, and a chance to battle the Ultimate Masters (which is like the Elite 4, only of the world) So, you may be wondering what the other evil orginizations do. Well, they aren't powerful enough to be Resistance concerns but they are a nuisance to the public, so there are side quests where the player must take out camps of these organizations or stop them from doing something in return for money, or rare items.

    Concerning the Celestial Birds:
Remember all of those (explained later) things? Well this where I explain them! So, the Celestial Birds are birds of legend that are said to be some of the most powerful beings alive. Not only are they made of the purest precious metals, their homes are also surronded by these metals. These metals also form much faster in the presence of the Birds. (taking only about 3 years to form a 20 pound mineral) The Birds seem to emit purity, wherever they go water seems fresher, plants seem taller, and everything seems healthier. Each one embodies a particular thing and type. Each one represents something that is either unexplained or mysterious in some way. The Silver Bird is the embodyment of luck, Gold of skill, and Diamond of intelligence. They also have types associated with them. Though they are all Steel/Flying types, they each have their own movepools. Silver has Ice attacks, Gold has fire, and diamond has electric. Though it may seem Silver is weakest, all of them are good in some places, and not in others. Silver is the defensive one with high Defense and Special Defense, but has low Attack and Special attack, Gold is the sweeper with good Speed and Special Attack, but low Defense and HP, Diamond is the Attacker with high Attack and Special Attack, but low Defenses. They all count as uber so they have really high stats. Silver looks all around bulky and, of course, silver with a large body, the largest of the three, with a huge wingspan. It has armored wings, talons, and body. While the head appears to have a mideval helm. It resembles an eagle. Gold is gold (duh) and the smallest of the three. It appears very thin and it looks like it can easily maneuver. It's wings are areodynamic andit's talons and beak are very long and sharp. It looks like a falcon. Diamond is blue and medium size. It's wings are made of diamond and everything that can be shrap is: the talons, beak and diamonds. Surronding it's face are even more diamonds. It looks like a condor. As to actually being matallic, all armored parts of Silver are silver, Gold is only Gold on the back, while the rest is feathered, Diamond is all feathers except the parts I said were Daimond and it's back. About the Residue, when the Birds die they don't truely die, they more or less disappear. The Residue is linked to their movepools. (Lunar=moon=ice Solar=sun=fire Shining=electric) The reason the player could still move when time was frozen is because the residue still is the Bird and the time freeze only affected Birds so when the residue went to the player, they are considered a Bird. The Residue cam to the player because the Bird's entrust what is left of their souls to one pure of heart, like their pure metals. They will even grant one wish of the owner. (bringing their Pokemon back from the grave) Also, even after they die, the things they embody don't disappear, it is said they created them, but as of now they embody them. But upon their deaths they do take their pure metals with them.

    The Celestial Islands
I already kinda described the Celestial Islands but each one is different. Silver's island is mountainous and forested. The forests are dense, cold, and snowy. Silver's resting place is Mt.Shining (named that because of the glistening ice) the ice and snow of that mountain never melt. It is like Canada, with a lot of mountains. Gold's island is also dense forest, but it is tropical, with a moist and temperate climate. The mountains, which are present but not as common as at Silver's, are rocky. Gold's resying place is Burning Valley. It is surronded by cliffs called the Firey Surrond. It is hot, very hot. The cliffs are bare with rivers that merge into a waterfall called the Burning Drop. The valley is lushes forest with a river running down the center with a lake at the side opposite the falls. However there is a way out besides flying, there are several places that could be climbed, or even walked upon. It is like Madagascar. Diamond's island is basically prairies and flatlands. There is one tall, steep mountain that is home to Diamond called Sparkstorm Mountain. It is surronded by a large prairie called Cracklefeild. Diamond actually rests in a cave on Sparkstorm Mt. called the Bright Cave.

    Addtional Notes
The game's themes should be that it is very warlike with milatary callouts, terms, and technology. (plus te more futuristic technology.) I mention people and Pokemon being dead this is because when say an organization member defeats a Resistance member, or vise-versa, the cost is usally death. Pokemon however, don't go down so easy. They are too tough, even the really weak ones, can't be killed by weapons (they can be weakened) or by moves. (unless if it is very powerful, like from a Bird)

If you decide to use this give credit, and please tell me what you think.
