Eevee would be an interesting starting pokemon.
Even though Eevee would be the only starter, he can evolve into:

Water

Fire
*-*-*
Thunder
*-*-*
Psychic
*-*-*
Dark
*-*-*-*-*-*

Of course, you would have to change the evolutions of eevee for Espeon and Umbreon using stones to evolve them...

well i just tested out and it messed up badly.and i need to change badly. to fit border. But that wont take alot. just gotta put some spaces in and stuff. when i get scripts done then i need you to test

and evee is a good starter but i think alot of ppl have used evee befor

because your rival finds you stuck in castle frequently but the first he/she see's that you have no pokemon and gave you an eevee (rival isnt going to be rival he/she going to be a comrade since they are working to a common goal)
