Was Team Plasma actually that bad? Yes, we can all agree that Ghetsis was bad... But was the team actually bad? Would have you sided with Team Plasma and given up your Pokemon? Or maybe joined the team?

If you were in Unova at the time would have you joined or sided with the team? How would have you reacted to their campaign?

In a world where Pokemon and humans live in significant harmony, attempting to liberate them does make them bad imho. Throughout the Pokemon World, Pokemon seemed happy in their situation, but I think out of all the evil teams, their aims were the 'best'.

Would have you joined their plight though? Imagine you were in their world and it was the popular thing?

It's interesting though - even if you thought it was a bad idea you would eventually get pressured by them to join in. If not by them then by your peers. And given the fact Pokemon can't speak it makes it harder to represent their best interests.

It definitely is an interesting one, I feel like if I was in that situation though, I wouldn't join them. Personally, I feel like I'd love my Pokemon too much to let them go, but I can see how people could be convinced to join.

Team Plasma is group of people who think they're doing good but are actually causing far more problems than they're solving. It's true that some people treat thier Pokemon poorly, Silver immediately comes to mind, but those people are few and far between. The majority of people in the Pokemon world who own Pokemon care as deeply for thier Pokemon as people in our world care for thier pets. Pokemon battles are a thing, but it's been shown time and time again that these battles are natural behavior, and when you have a fully-grown dragon as a pet you need some way to get those aggressive urges out without leveling the city. Additionally, I'm pretty sure if you push your Pokemon too hard, it'll tell you. Painfully.
