I would rather have Will-o-Wisp to shut down the physical sweepers, not to mention it can status more than one Pokemon. If you're running Nastly Plot, be sure to pump in some more EVs on the defensive side instead of investing in Sp.Atk. Spiritomb needs defensive EVs to take a hit if it's even thinking about dealing good damage. Plus, it can get more Nasty Plots in. =D

I downright hate this thing in battles. Bad speed weakens it's sweeping ability. Substitute and Focus Punch is suggested over Focus Blast and Power Gem to earn a 2HKO on Blissey, who will most likely try to status you before attacking - so that gives you some time to set up. If you want that, run Quiet with 40 HP / 216 Attack / 252 Sp.Atk.

Calm Mind? Interesting. Usually one would run Nasty Plot to be more succesful in the sweeping department. Anyways, invest some Sp.Atk EVs in there. You never see a Special Sweeper with no Sp.Atk EVs.

Yeah, like Raikazu said, you might want WoW in there on Spiritomb. Plus, double status is always nice.

 

[Beginnings]

Personally, I think you need to get rid of Ampharos altogether, it's not the best choice for sweeping because of it inferior speed/movepool. If you want my opinon, I believe you should use

Jolteon@Petaya Berry or Leftovers
Impish
252 Spd/252 Sp.Atk/4 HP
Thunderbolt
Hidden Power Ice
Substitute
Thunderwave or Baton Pass

This way you still have an electric type, and with a potential 394 speed, it outruns lots of the competition, and can take out its main threats Aerodactyl, Salamence etc etc. with HP Ice.

But then again I'm kinda new to this competitive battle stuff.

Impish isn't the best choice for a nature, as Jolteon's defense is lacking. Timid is a better choice.
