I was wondering if PC had a teamspeak server, I did a search and saw many people talk about it but havent found one... if there is not a teamspeak server I could host one for PC...that is if PC even wants a TS server...so this is like a question/suggestion...so I guess let me know if PC wants a TS server

no we don't and, well, no one's yet inquired about it til now..

It's an interesting concept. I'm not very informed about the software; would it allow people without microphone hardware to communicate through text?

For what it's worth, it's my guess that a bunch of people don't even know what Teamspeak is (myself included). Elaboration wouldn't hurt.

That would be pretty cool, but I think more people should be informed what it is about. Also, you'd have to take into account how much PokeCommunity's server can hold.

Agreed. Oh and if it means to actually talk, talk and people would hear you, you can always do that through wifi. Or if you didn't have that then I don't know but it surely hasn't been bothering any PC members here. :)

To be honest PC would only need a teamspeak server for online gaming and nothing else really and then again you gotta be careful with all those exploit scripts that can make someone a channel owner when banning them

That has nothing to do with it. It wouldn't be hosted on this website...

I think it would be an interesting concept I usually enjoy talking instead of text typing during gaming that is...also teamspeak is not confound just to be used for gaming, rather then just gaming it can serve multiple purposes live chat and live voice chat discussions about events or just to talk to pass some time...I also read that ~Morning Bliss~ said we can talk while playing on wi-fi, though that is true how annoying is it to put your face next to your microphone screaming at it being blinded by your bright DS screen (or DSI in my case witch is really bright) and let us not forget that it is difficult to play and talk at the same time, seeing as how you have to put your face right next to the screen you are then unable to press the touch screen. you could still use the buttons but unless you know what the cursor is on and know your pokemon's attacks by heart it would not matter...why go through a hassle when instead you can simply talk to your computers microphone and have the person on the other end hear you clearly without distracting your game...personally that is just me and my opinion

I do have skype and many ventrilo servers and TS servers as well...but I am just saying it would be a cool idea as a community hangout spot instead of "here add my skype." I do not see any harm in it if you dont wish to use TS then dont but why stop the people that are interested?
