Saw the title? This is my friends team. He wanted me to post it. He doesn't know about EVs and he didn't read Frostweaver's guide. In fact, he never read a guide in his whole life. He uses Legendarys but no strategy. So rip this stupid team to shreds.

and not everything needs STAB...

Latios has psychic dumped because only fighting and poison types are weak to psychic... fighting types die regardless of psychic or not anyway because soul dew is ubar. And poison types are very rare... just Weezing and it's not hard to handle for a special sweeper (Weezing is physical). Also the team lacked coverage over the elementals, so minor sacrifices must be made.

Eruption is good... if you can even pull it off. Your damage goes down as your current hp goes down, so what's the point? So really this is getting more power. Groudon isn't that fast... and even if a full-powered Eruption hits, it isn't even nearly as strong as Water Spout from Kyogre, which makes the risk not wrothy. Groudon doesn't even get STAB... plus your only goal with fire blast is anti-Meta and anti-Skarm/Weezing. With sunny day in effect, it's enough already.

Psychic may not b super effective against most types, but it still kicks @$$. U can't deny dat. My Latias w/ psychic kill every 'mon the ghoast E4 dude put up against it. u can pull off eruption - Groudon learns it. But ur prob. right, Fire Blast doesn't diminish in power.

dragon claw also receives STAB, and is not that much lower in power... Dragon claw's power lies in the ability to kill OU Salamences, and only steel type resist it. However, common T-tars and Metas are completely resistant to Psychic, which is not that good...
