Vetani nodded to DL's and Rocky's request to go after Gigas again. But inside, she was worried about them, since they went off by themselves before. And now they're here.
Then, she looked down at the ring that held her one-fingered glove to her hand. It now held a large green gem that looked exactly like the one that she had transported from her planet. Did Pothufer give these to us? But..I thought that these controlled our minds. Or maybe..that was the red one. Each of them must have their own seperate power enhancement..
Vetani began to haul the broken parts of Tower away off the island. As she did, she noticed that her physical strength was enhanced. But she wasn't sure if it was the gem, or the difference between Tamaran and Earth.
Soon, all of the rubble was cleared from the island. The only piece of building left was the base, which was surprisingly still intact.
Vetani reached her hand into her pocket and took out her communicator. It was colored green, custom so that she could tell it was hers. She pressed a button, and a familiar face came up.
"Yo V, how's it goin'?" Cyborg asked in his usual slang.
"Not good.." Vetani said with a slight frown.
"Hmm really? How come?"
"Well..let's just say, we got into a huge fight and the Tower went down with us."
"You serious? Need any help rebuildin' it?"
"That's why I called...Can you help us?"
"Sure can. I'll be over in a few."
The familiar face on the communicator faded in a sea of static, and Vetani closed the cover before putting it back in her pocket. She sighed and looked back up to her friends, "Cy says he'll be over in a little bit to help rebuild." she said.
