    I've watched the whole series of TTGL, THE best Anime I've ever watched, and then I find some information about a Movie for it. ...didn't the series conclude already? Not that more action wouldn't be good, it's just that there's no need since the story already ended?

    Likely an OVA movie, then.
    After realising how popular their series is, whatever company originally created TTGL decides to extort more profits from now established fans.
     
    I heard they were planning a series of OVAs, which would be awesome.

    Gurren-Lagann deserves more than it gets.
     
    I haven't heard about the OVA series, but there is a movie on its way, I think it's released in September. It's basically a complication movie with some new animation and slight story changes.
     
    Movie is well on its way, with new theme music by Shokotan as well.
    Just saw a TV advert for it this morning ;)

    It'll be like the First Gundam movies - a compilation trilogy.
     
    gurren lagann already has OVAs (it came in the gurren lagann DS game in japan) it wasnt the greatest thing in the world...but yea, gainax is making 2 compilation movies, and they were supposed to have parrallel demension music videos each week until the movie comes out...but they stopped after making 6 music videos
