Tha Pokemon prophecy Part I: The Meeting

"I gotta get Scizor outta this, quick!!" thought CHase frantically. "There must be some way!"

Scizor was tiring out fast, and it needed to get out that clamp attack. It struggled and struggled as Chase thought of a way.

"Sciz....sciz....zor...zor!!" it cried.

"Slasher, use Fury Cutter!" yelled Chase suddenly.

Slasher calmed down, focused, and aimed its claws directly into cloyster's face, used fury cutter. (Normally, this attack didnt have much effect, but now it had enough power to shake cloyster off, because its special ability powers up bug-type moves when its enerygy is low.)

Cloyster's atack took alot out of Slasher, and it was now on all fours panting on the ground.

"Sciz.....sciz...." it panted.
 
Jason looked at Scizor and saw that it was really tired and felt bad for it. He didn't care about winning, he knew that this kind of situation happend in gym battles all the time, rookie trainers wouldn't call back there pokemon when they were extremely tired. "I think we should end this Chase and call back your Scizor.... I think its had enough." And he knew that Chase wasn't a Rookie trainer and hoped that Chase understood his point.
 
Chase heard Jason's remark, and thought about the decision.

"Ill return him, he's worn out from the battle," said Chase, looking at Scizor. "Slasher, return!"

Chase returned Slasher to his pokeball and looked at it before he put it back on his belt where he kept all of the other pokeballs.

"You battled great, Slasher," he said. "Now, you have a good, long rest."
 
Jason came around to the Chase's side of the battlefield and patted him on the back... "Your Scizor did great!... I was surprised that your Scizor could use a Whirlpool attack... and you're a really good trainer for doing the right thing."I've seen trainers who battle against Misty and when their Pokemon's hurt they don't even call it back until it completely faints."

Jason sighed noticing that Rachel left,"We could have already started our journey with her and the others would just have to cathc up. They never appear to be here all at the same time."
 
"Thanks," said Chase with a small smile. "Slasher cant control water like water pokemon can, it used its wings to create a whirlpool, not water powers. I guess we can add another technique to Slasher's underwater battling technique list."

Chase looked around the field.

"Wasnt Rachel just here?" he asked. "Why did she leave? We could have started the journey with her! I guess we have alot of work to do when it comes to sticking together...."
 
Jason agreed... "Tell me about it....well we could go on and leave them a message on their Pokegear... cause they all have a phone I'm sure... the boat doens' leave for another 2 days...."

(In Gold and Silver versions each character has a phone with them in their PokeGear.... I don't remember if Sapphire and Ruby had that feature....)
 
"Do you want to? Because im ready to go and travel already!" said Chase, a little annoyed. "Lets go, Jason, we can leave the a message telling them where to meet us up at."

Chase began to pack up his thinngs again, waiting for Jason's response.

(BTW, try making your posts a litle longer in the future......i dont want Axel telling us off again....and Ruby and Sapphire didnt have that feature, but we can still use it)
 
"Ok so this is your region... hows the best way to get to Lilycove City from Oldale Town... We can stay in a hotel there or something if we arrive early and wait for them but I doubt it because isn't it on the other side of the island?... I'm excited as well, I'm itching to see the Hoenn Region."

(yeah i know i will. its easy to make a paragraph when its small talk, like this but during a battle its hard, to make a lenghty paragraph when really you're just command ing your pokemon to attack)
 
(i know, i just put in unnecessary details in there to make it long lol)

"You know...." Chase began, "I have an idea! Instead of going by boat, we can use our pokemon to get where we want! That way, we wont have to worry about missing boats and things of that nature, i can show you guys more of the Hoenn region, and we can still sleep in hotels an stuff!"

"Bre, Bre, Bre!" agreed Shadow, excited at the way his trainer was behaving.
 
"Hah! thats a great Idea, If we're going across water that'll be no problem for me with Lapras! Three people can ride on Lapras including myself, so if you and another person need trainer need a lift, we can ride on Lapras. And tahts a great idea now that we can see more of the Hoenn Region.... so where to first?"

Vaporeon smiled and cried, "Poreon!" out of her excitement.
 
"Thanks for the Lapras offer, Jason," smiled Chase. "but when it comes to traveling, I have Ace and Tsunami for that. They are my mode of trasportation! Ace can fly up to thre people, including me, on it, so it isnt a problem!"

Chase looked at his PokeNav thought about which route they should take first.

"You know, Jason, if you wanted to see most of the Hoenn region, we go west onto route 102, that would take us to my Hometown, Rustboro City. But, we could take a shortcut to Slateport on route 103, its just a short Surf away."
 
Well if it's your hometown lets go to Rustboro then, since no one is with us might as well kill time.... wouldn't we have to go through Petalburg City too and the Woods to get to Rustboro?... I sutdied the maps on my Navigator too. Whats there to see at Rustboro and along the way?

Jason looked around at his surroundings and saw many new Pokemon.
 
"Well, yes, we would pass through Petalburg, on the way, we would see the woods and the flower shop, when we get into the city, There is a Gym, a Pokemon Trainer's School, and the famous Devon Corp.! They make things there that make life easier and stuff. We can go to my house, too, i gotta stop there anyway. So? Whaddya say? Wanna go?" asked Chase.
 
"Alright, lets go then!I'm dying to catch the new Water & Ice types here.... of course they'll go straight to the Cerulean Gym after I catch them because I'm already carying six Pokemon. But that won't matter... I'll get to show them off to Misty when we get over there!," he added with a laugh.

"So theres a gym up there, hmmmm.... whats he/she like?... what type of Pokemon does that gym use?... of course i won't battle because now that I'm considered a part of the Pokemon League since I work at the Cerulean Gym, and it would be against the league rules. But I'm just curious?..."
 
"The Rustboro Gym leader's name is Roxanne. She uses rock type-pokemon in her gym, and has a Geodude and a Nosepass, thats a new pokemon, you'll see it later on when we get into caves," said Chase. "So ill leave the messages on everyone elses cell phones.....*leaves the messages*.....and were ready to go!"
 
"Poreon!" Vaporeon cried happily.

So Jason and his Vaporeon followed Chase and his Umbreon and headed towards Petalburg City, which was on the way to Rustboro. Jason looking closely for any Pokemon that were never seen in the Kanto region.

"So what's the Petalburg Woods like Chase?... I'm just wondering if its anything close to the Viridian forset in Kanto."
 
"Look there, Jason!" says Chase. "There's a Corphish! Its sort of a crawfish-looking pokemon, and it evolves into Crawdaunt, a powerful water/dark pokemon. Crawdaunts are excellent battling pokemon, their naturally rough battlers."

The corphish stood in the middle of the road, ready to fight. It wouldnt let them pass without a battle.

"Corphish, Cor!!" said the rough little pokemon as it blocked the way.

"You can catch it if you want, it would be a good water pokemon for your team." said Chase.
 
Jason thought for a moment and the word 'dark' came into his mind.... 'thats it!... it'll be perfect going against the Psychic types' "Alright Vaporeon!... weaken it with a Water Gun! Vaporeon shot a Powerful Water Gun attack and weakened it but not enough for jason to catch it.

It came charging towards Vaporeon getting ready for what looked like a tackle attack. "Vaporean stop it with your Tail Whip!" Vaporeon hit the small Pokemon with its strong tail and it was time to capture it because it was weak enough.

Jason then threw a Pokeball at it. After a few shakes the Pokeball was still. "Yes i caught a Corphish!" Immediately the Pokeball turned white and dissappeared from his hand but he knew that it was transfered to the Gym back home.

"Thanks for telling me about Corphish Chase!"

"You're welcome, Jason," said Chase. "I figured you would need a dark-type pokemon, and its also a water type, perfect for you! Now, i suggest you train it, we will need it for the battle later on. We can go back and get it from the pokemon center, if you like, or i can call my friend Shawn, he has an abra, and it can teleport the pokemon to you instantly."

"Um!" conclude Shadow.
 
Hanae felt the ringing of her cellphone. She looked at the message and then closed it. She turned to see the rest of trainers talking about training and how excited they were. She ran over and said that she agreed and just as quickly, she left. She went to the PokeCenter and gave her Pokemon over to Nurse Joy for a quick heal. She sat down a nearby table and waited for a companion to help her through such a strange region.
