4th Gen That Is One Big Book O_O;

That's pretty big. o_O; And pretty cheap too, in comparison to how much it'll probably be once it comes out over here. D<

I know what ya mean by big book. It's bigger than my Mystery Dungeon guide!

I was in Epcot the day before Platinum came out, and in the store in their Japan they had them out on the counter as if they had just been shipped in. (At first, I thought it was a stack of two or three. n_n;;) I wanted to ask how much they would be, but then I remembered about Disney World pricing and decided to just stare at it. (:

Haha it is pretty massive. They were handing them out free with the purchase of the game where I work, but by the time I went there myself to buy it the books went in the first hour of opening. ;-;

But I'm pretty sure there are stickers and other things in it as well which could take up a decent chunk of the book, but never the less, huge! Lol

Biggest. Startegy. Guide. I. Have. Ever. Seen.

That about sums it up right there <3

I think I want to get the guide now. I really just want to see what it says about EV's, seeing as how a Pokemon Guide book has never, ever, touched about EV's.

About the figure, I almost got two. The people there when I pre ordered handed me a figure, and when I picked up the actual game the guy tried to give me another one. He was really confused when I told him that I had already gotten one XDD.

I can't wait to get my hands on that bad boy! I thought the guide to D/P was awesome, but this one looks to be even better! I'm officially excited!

yea i got the game and the guide when i saw it i thought it was a stack of guides not one but i got it anyway since i had change after i payed off the rest of my game. i love the detail in the maps too.

By the way, the Giratina figure wasn't free. The $5 you had to pay to reserve the game was basically paying for the figure.

Really? The $10 I gave ($5 for the game, $5 for the guide) went towards the game, so all I had to pay on the release date was $30.00(+tax) for the game, and $12.00(+tax) for the guide ($42.00 all together+tax).

I really don't see the point of buying a guide after they invented Google.
Some of the information I have found on Google has been far less than accurate. For the record everyone, I did buy the guide.

Does anyone who have the book mind photo-copying the page that mentions EV's? I just want to see it in print.

it cost me 15 bucks i bought it at gamestop but at a target or walmart or now at a gamestop without platinum is like 20 bucks plus tax

I've heard quite a bit of chatter about this book, so I went to look at it today. I must say, it is pretty big. But it's kind of a waste of money.

While I'm not getting the game for myself I am going to Gamestop tomorrow to buy it for someone in Australia. I might just have to sneak a peek before I ship it off. I've never been one for guides. Surely everything I would need could be accessed via internets.

Does it contain base stats of pokemon, if any of you even know what those are -_-

That book was frigging huge, I'd say. I found the D/P one in my local bookstore, and that was, like, HALF THE SIZE of this one.
Man, what's going on with our world...?
