4th Gen That really grinds my gears!

I like the fact of having the multiple gear bike, because like numerous people have already replied with: It saves the trouble of flying all the way back to the city in which you got the bike: in this case, Mauville City, switching out bikes between either the Acro or Mach Bike, and then flying back to the respective city in which you were.
 
Definitely not as fun as the Mach and Acro bikes, but it was definitely better than having to manually switch the two bikes in Mauville!
 
Better than having to switch bikes, but since you can't use it more "universally" like in the Safari Zone, it really is an unnecessary addition, IMO.

The way I see it, is that the high gear's main purpose was to either make hatching eggs faster, or glitching the game to access the Void.
