    Discuss this year's BET Awards such as performances you liked and disliked, people you were happy won and people you bummed didn't win.
     
    I seriously cried when they did the Michael Jackson tribute. I loved all the perfomance especially Trey Songz's, Eminem's and Drake's<3

    One thing I totally hated was Nicki Minaj won "Best New Artist" and she lip synched -_-

    And BET got 3 million more viewers because Justin Bieber was nominated for Best New Artist. BET also made 3 million girls very angry because he didn't win.

    Beyonce totally should have won Viewers choice but I guess it was the only way for Rihanna to win anything.
    Rumor has it that Bey, RiRi, and Jay weren't there because Chris Brown was tributing Michael :(
    Alicia Keys SLAYED & SWEEPED! Her Prince tribute was cute, and her mini tribute to herself lmao!

    I'm so glad Beyonce got video of the year for the third year in the row! And this time, she got GaGa her first accolade from the station.
    Prince did not approve of Trey Songz! Lmao but he came to life for Janelle Monae (who is from my city) Alicia, and Patti LaBelle.
    Chris Brown actually had everyone emotional. I felt him this time, or it could have been sympathy tears :O
    Usher sucked, and Nicki Minaj looked great but since when did rappers lip sync?

    Those are my thoughts...
     
    Nicki lip synching was a hot mess but I still love her.

    Of course my favorite moment was Chris Brown's MJ tribute (but you could have easily guessed that).

    Regarding awards I was bummed CB didn't get Best Male R&B but I like Trey Songz too so it wasn't that bad. I wanted New Boyz to get Best Group I mean, come on, Young Money isn't even a group (they're a record label, though Lil' Twist was cute).

    Like eveyone else over the age of 12, I lol'd when Bieber was nominated but now I'm kind of bummed he didn't win.

    "The white boy from Canada" should have won. Where's Kanye when you need him?

    To be honest, I only watched to see if Bieber was going to win. But I'm happy I watched because the performances were amazing.

    Young Money is a group, they've released and album under the name so it's official, but I still don't get why rappers would lip sync? That's ridiculous. Also, those smoke machines were hilarious!
     
    i didnt watch the whole show, but my coworker was telling me about chris brown's performance and i looked it up on youtube. he killed those six (or so) minutes and despite his image in the media i think he deserves a comeback, if only for his talent

    If Tiger Woods can attempt a comeback then Chris should be able too. (And I'm not just saying that cuz I love him)
