3rd Gen The 3rd Generation Power House Challenge

I'll use Charmander in Fire Red ^^
EDIT: Also, I've decided to not evolve Benni until level 43ish, so he will be an amazing kick butt 'mander till then ^^;


EDIT
Update #1:
- Started new game; named myself Red and my rival Blue
- Withdrew Potion from the PC
- Went and got Charmander; nicknamed Benvolio (admit it; you love it xD)
- Benvolio beat Blue's Squirtle and boosted to level 6 :D yay!
- Got the Potion from the Mart dude
- Walked to Viridian; leveled up to level 7 - learned Ember
- Got Oak's Parcel; walked back to Pallet Town
- Delivered Oak's Parcel and got the Poke Dex (and five Poke Balls)!
- Got a Town Map from Blue's Sister, Daisy
- Caught a Pidgey, Rattata, and Mankey for 'dex purposes (and maybe HM slaves?)
- Grinded to level 10
- Grinded till level 12 and beat Blue (a lucky BRN status on his Squitle and it didn't use Bubble :P)
- Now, taking on Viridian Forest ^^

Short update :P

Update #2:
- Beat Brock easily with Metal Claw
- Traded a filler with a Everstone over so I wouldn't have to keep pressing B (I've decided to not evo Benni till level 43
- Equipped Benvolio with the Everstone
- Worked through Mt. Moon
- Gave up on trying to complete the Poke Dex
- Obtained the Helix Fossil (whoopie)
- Taught Benni Mega Punch (:
- Arrived in Cerulean City
- Beat the two trainers in Misty's gym easily
- Beat Blue on the second try
- Grinding :P

- Beat Nugget Bridge
- Tried Misty; lost; decided to come back later
- Went to Vermillion
- Beat S.S. Anne and Blue with no trouble
- Defeated all trainers east of Vermillion
- Got VS Seeker, Bike Voucher and Old Rod
- Caught Meowth for Cut and Flash Slave
- Destroyed Lt. Surge
- Went back to Cerulean with Slash attack and killed Misty
- Got Bike
- Beat all Trainers on Route 10
- About to take on Rock Tunnel

Update #1 from me.

- chose charmander, nicknamed "Hm Slave", got murdered by rival due to double crit hax.
- Caught a level 4 female pidgey, nicknamed "Kat"
- Trained Kat to level ten and challenged rival. Barely won wtih three Hp left.
- Got owned by Brock. Decided to train more.
- Tried again. Beat geodude, then got 2HKO by Rock Tomb from Onix.
- Trained Kat to evolution point. Now in possesion of a Pidgeotto, named "Kat" Lv. 18
- Finally beat Brock on my 5th try, due to much spamming of sand-attack and potion abuse.
- escaped Mt. Moon, teaching Kat Thief once I found it, to deal with pesky rock-types.
- Fought Misty and lost to Starmie.
- Lost AGAIN thanks to Water Pulse confusion and hurting myself twice in a row.
- Won at last thanks to Thief being Super effective vs. Starmie.


My pogeyman:

Pidgeotto ("Kat")
Level: 27
Moves: Thief, Sand Attack, Wing Attack, Quick Attack

Also in possesion of a Level 5 Charmander, a HM slave.

Quick question, am i allowed to level up charmader? If I get it to charizard, I can teach it Fly, cause I don't want to use that on Kat.

This sounds really fun, so I'll take a crack at it. I'll be using Marill for Emerald.

Also, according to Serebii, Marill can be found in Routes 102, 111, 114, 117 and 120 in Emerald. But I found it a lot of times on Route 104. Never found it on 102, though.

EDIT: I caught my Marill at Route 104.
