4. It seems cool at first, but the more you think about it, the worse it gets. Would people be able to keep Pokemon? After all, Pokemon are dangerous and it would be kind of strange to allow just anybody to walk around with them. What happens when an angry legendary Pokemon decides to destroy the world? A random ten-year-old with a bad sense of fashion isn't likely to save the world like in the games, because it isn't realistic. On top of that, for all we know, the more intelligent Psychic-types would be the dominant species.
5. Assuming that I can only choose the standard starters that are available in the cartridge games, I'd go with Cyndaquil. Quilava is awesome.
