Coming 2007..

This January, prepare for a brand new, original sprite comic.
Following the path of Darien Willow, amateur Pokémon trainer.
Along side several companions, he sets off into a world of mystery
and surprises. With random encounters with the trio of evil, Team Rocket;
Occasional battles against the new D/P Pokémon, and bags full of humour.
Get ready for a brand new adventure. January 2007.

Now that you all know my plan; you will be able to feast your eyes
on several of the maps and sprites that will be used in the upcoming
comic. Please be aware of the credits, and do not steal anything!
All of the maps below were tiled and put together by me.

Hero's house; Part 1 - This is the kitchen,
dining room, and main area of the house.

Hero's house; Part 2 - This is the living
quarters of the house, which include the
TV, couches, and telephone!

Hero house; Part 3 - The hero's bedroom
which includes computer, TV, and a window!

Lab, Part 1 - PokéLab, main floor. Includes
Pokéball table, computer, and books.

Lab, Part 2 - Basement of PokéLab
which includes the Professor's living
area. TV, Fridge, Sink, Dresser.

PokéMart - Smaller than the previous
regions, but small is always good. :)

Pokémon Center; Part 1 - Basic Pokémon
Center design.. nothing different except
that there is no map or bookshelf. :)

Pokémon Center; Part 2 - Because all of
the old stuff would be of no use in a comic,
I decided to make it like all the buildings
seperating areas in R/B/Y. I'm impressed
with it. In the comic, Darien will occasionally
take a peek through the binoculars. x)

Achamo, If you read carefully, he's showcasing his maps and sprites, this isn't the actual comic itself. >_>

However, the maps still constitute as sprites, and 4 examples are to be made at the beginning of a showcase thread, but if you're willing to post more works in the near future, then I won't object to this. ^^ Just remember to have 4 examples ready with you when you first make a thread, k? :3

^ thanks, I didn't see that before.

Anyway, the town is really good! Its a good use of the style of sprites. The sadilites on the lab could use some replacement, instead of overlapping. And the bird-house-looking thing is throwing me off in location. However, The fountain is in a great location, and the D/P stile is great. (I still suggest that you could push it a little away from the fence of the house). Overall, this was pretty good. I say it tops my grafics in creation.

cwl i like it just only that that celebi thing is just weird but is that supposed to be a celebi house if it is ten its the wrong location as celebi lives in forests and ot in startre towns and this sentence just goes on and on so id better stop now cuz i think ill die +.+

Silon!!! It be a very good Birdhouse!!! Nah. Looks cool. Can't really see any flaws to the map, I like the speechbubbles, and the banner.

Despite this, The cut tree could be lighter in shading, to match the other trees as it looks out of place in there with its darkness n'all. Fix that up there and you have a map that Nintendo would be proud of.

Hey Iceman! Long time no see! Well, I can't find anything that really looks wrong, but the pine tree looks kind of droopy. That's about all I can say in constructive critisism.

the so called, 'Celebi Shrine'. xD

Wow. The OW's are pretty good indeed.

And the changed palette of the Pokemon Centre looks very sweet indeed.

Why don't you read the thread properly before reporting!? This is NOT a comic thread. >_> It's been stated in the very first reply.

Oh, and please don't mini-mod, report a thread if there's a fault with it, do not post in it.

For your pitiful information (as well as the "young" comment being uncalled for as well), would you listen to one's word and suddenly come to the conclusion that they'd intend for a purpose opposite to what is expected here? Iceman made this thread here to show off work, as he is doing so. He will not get in trouble for doing what he is supposed to do.

And by the by, the whole thing is in no way applying to you either, so you shouldn't be one to talk. Attempt to argue with me about it and it shall result to a warning.
