>>> The April DCC thread of doom <<<

XDDD I know. The thread was hilarious. Those were good times. T_T We'd never get away with it now.

I think it depends on the situation. I don't like that when I actually have to understand what they're saying...like when my math teacher is telling us what to do, but otherwise it's kind of interesting. o_O;
You can still try, though. XD

I just frown on the practice of code-switching in general, even in casual conversation.

Sad thing is, we might get away with it too if we did it right. XD;

We did, Jorfe. And that's something to be proud of. Sort of. Not really. Oh well.

I doubt we'd get away with it...no one bought the first "How not to spend a Friday night" thing...but I guess that one was a little too obvious. It'd be great if we got to do something like that again. XD

You'd be surprised what ex-staff have been able to get away with on some other boards, and even here to an extent. XD;

And pssh. Who cares if they buy it or not? XD So long as we have fun doing it.

As Erica said, you can get away with it if you execute it correctly. "How not to spend a Friday night" is indeed too obvious; you should go for something more subtle in order to increase your chances.

They used to be called something different and far more misleading but we'd rename them when we were tired of the thread. XD

Obviously you guys are up to no good, but I'm a little lost. You're planning to make a chocolate thread? o.o

It was originally "Problems with the yellow" theme or something. We faked that we were having problems with a certain theme and then Erica randomly said she loved me EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO SAY THAT TO NIKO.

But yeah, it could work again if we did it right. XD

Was I? Rofl, I don't even remember. :[ It was more fun with an element of surprise though.

MegaFuz - We're talking about these threads Jorfe and I and others used to make in the staff lounge that were all suggestive or weird. It scared the other staff. XD;

Do you think that that setup can work for a second time, or is it already unfeasible? If the latter is true, then you had best start plotting. XD

I guess. It did lead to me being gay for both Niko and Alan (I miss him!), good memories. XD

We did it a second time sort of. Kylie made a story about me and Dawson...posted it in the lounge, we started editing the title and spamming and it eventually ended with the title "Motion Picture Part 4: Son of How Not To Spend a Friday Night VII: The Deadening" or something. XD

I kinda feel left out.... All of you were former moderators? Staff DCC? Creative and useless suggestions? To me it spells SPAM.

Technically it'd work since there are broken images in some themes. But...I dunno how we'd get away with hijacking a thread like that with random love confessions anymore. XD;

edit: That thread sucked Jorfe. I ended up with no one. :[ I like the proposals in HQ though. Now THAT was fun, but you had to go delete yours. >O

I know...we'd probably get warned or banned for spamming now. It sucks XD

Neither did I! It was great! No one was gay or anything! XD I know...mine sucked though, then I did another one for Abby and even shocked Andy with it. XD

Ah, nice. Suggestive as in like...inappropriate humor? If so, you can never get too much of that. XD

But we can always go to Steve to get it overturned! =D

And yeah, Abby's was so much better. XD Your first was terrible.

MegaFuz - Yeah, exactly. XD

I'm not a former staff member, but Erica and Jorge are. Our suggestions are most definitely not useless, though they are certainly creative. As for the spam aspect...you really shouldn't sully their posts with such a derisive moniker like that.

That's true! We should so totally do it again then. XD

Yes, yes it was better. I could probably do another one for you, but I don't feel like it. XD

Hehehe.... "good times", but bad memories at the same time. I'm a young member who feels like I've been here when it first started! Why don't you revive some of your pasttime threads? That would be cool. All this talk about "the good old times" makes me feel good.
