I have always heard Gastly so i think it's a little weird when phrase spelled it Ghastly...

'Ghastly' is an actual word.

The Pokémon, however, is spelled 'Gastly'. It's a play on the original word, but emphasises that it is a Gas Pokémon.

I find the anime forum in Gaia to be irritating, too many wannabe elitists. GD is a trash hole at night and decent by day. Haven't ever joined, I just browse there sometimes. I also think the staff are far too lenient. More permanent IP bans are required, and certain users who have been banned temporarily multiple times should be banned for good.
