John Depth, stumbled out of his cave, yawning as the early morning sun reflected off his emerald eyes. His jeweled dagger and scimitar in either one of his calused hands, he stocked out of his home and down the gentle slop into the thick dense forest that was his hunting grounds. The tall trees and thick canapy (Can't spell today! I spelt caluse and canapy wrong! Ew...sorry I'm having a rough day.), made for perfect shade as he strolled openly on the trail he had blazed to a nearby waterfall, a favored watering hole for the animals in the community.

Reaching the waterfall, and the clearing, there were signs that danger was around, for the animals had all fled. He could sense a disturbance in the air around him, although not knowing it's origins, he stayed on the alert as he knelt down and sipped water from hole. Wiping the remaining water with the arm holding the dagger, he looked around, observing any signs he could of the danger he felt. Then a rustling came from the bushes on the other side of the clearing, jumping over the watering hole he walked cautiously over to the brush, ready for anything to jump out.

An orc, or fallen elf, had jumped out of the bush, sword in hand, smirking wildly as he also began to move threateningly at John. "Why have you come to my hunting grounds?" The orc proclaimed, more of a growl, bravely.

"Pardon me, I didn't mean to intrude on YOUR hunting grounds," John remarked sarcastically, a deadly tone to every word spoken. His arms tightened and readied to slash down this intruder, for these have been his hunting grounds for the passed 15 years.

"You will die this day human, know that," the orc stated as he raised his sword to attack. But it was too late, John was already in action. Stabbing the orc with his dagger in the orc's exposed flesh he then followed through with his scimitar and stabbed it cleanly into the orcs lower jaw.

The orc didn't even let out a scream of agony, for John's scimitar had cut cleanly through the monsters lower jaw, into it's upper jaw, and straight though it's pathetic excuse for a brain. Unlodging his weapons simotaneously, he wiped the blood on the dead orcs clothing and stepped passed his dead opponent into the other side of the forest, looking for something more edible to eat.

Where there's one or...there's bound to be more...this John Depth knew, and look forward to.

"Influence? I've had none, she came to me already hanging around here. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to... take care of something. Come on Alzara, let's go." Flare said, levitatin higher, looking towards some nountains that had ben colored a deep red by the rising sun. Alzara was already in her dragon form next to him, and Flare took off, not really noticing her or the dragons he had left on the ground...

Nidhoggir cursed for a moment after they left. "There's going to be a very long tlak about this, after Robert's gone." He said, though it was to an empty street. Smaug wasn't even in this world any more. He had the most important appointment of his life to keep, after all...

Flare took off with Alzara in tow, quickly getting to the mountains, They found a brown dragon sunbathing on a rocky ledge. Flare reared back, as a large red globe of energy appeared in its mouth, and right before it launched, the dragon got to it's feet, opening it's large yellow wings, and revealing yellow splotches over it's body, as it darted out of the way, revealing that it had a singular tail that split into two tips. The rock exploded, and the dragon landed on a grassy plain, revealing its long whiskers and slighlty yellowish mane that went down to the beginning of it's tail. Flare launched another blast, and the brown dragon dodged with ease, not saying anything.

I woke up with a jolt, realising that Beladran had a mind link with Alzara and was feeding me the info. "I've got to get back there!" I hissed under my breath..

Nidhoggir was back with Eclipse, and relating what had happened, and what was still happening, since he was still with Alzara as well. He was thinking of how to intervene, but couln't really yet, other than a small invigoration spell upon the new dragon.

Alzara had gotten out of the way of the two combatents, as sudenly Flare coiled around the other male, preparing for a close range blast. Suddenly, the brown dragon gathered energy, and Flare literally stopped moving, and The brown dragon got out of the coils, then hopped up to another ledge, before turning, his whiskers glowing for a moment, before suddenly Flare was hit with several lightning bolts. He regained movement shortly afterward, falling to the ground.

Nidhoggir observed all this casually, and then after the orange dragon had called the lightning bolts, he let an energy restoring spell unleash upon the him, hoping that he wouldn't block it.

OOC: I'd continue IC with robert, but I can't until TAD get's back. x.x

The brown dragon shook it's head, disabeling the spell without thihnking. Though while it's mind was on disabeling the spell, Flare had gotten back into the air, and whiled around, slamming the brown dragon with his tail, sending the brown into a ledge and to the ground, unmoving. "You were always a fragile one." Flare snareled...

Nidhoggir tried a healing spell, on the dragon, already creating a magical shield around the dragon, that wouldn't be noticed unless it was attacked. He didn't want to directly attack the golden dragon, but he would if he had to...

The brown dragon tried to get to his feet, but despite the healing spell, he fell to the ground as Flare launched a red hot inferno, burning him badly. He was losing fight, and it was obvious he was injured more than any quick heal could fix...

"I think that's enough." Said air as it took the shape of the same gold Dragon from earlier, still as calm, still as overly-muscular as before, as it stood between the dragons. "You will not kill this one." Said nidhoggir, an icy tone in his voice.

"Try and stop me" Flare said, preparing another attack. The brown dragon fought to his feet, casting a complicated healing spell, healing himself entierly. Another lightning bolt hit Flare, and the brown dragon moved to Alzara, saying "Come on! we must rid you of his influence before it is too late!" as he nudged her away from the battleground...

The brown dragon managed to get Alzara into a hidden cavern further up the mountain, and told her to wait there, as he heard the sound of Flare's fiery inferno being launched, as he turned and headed out, ready to finish this. He would not tolorate so many dragons near his lair...

As the smoke cleared, Nidhoggir was there, preactically unharmed by the attack, though it had taken a lot to block it. He flapped his wings once, beginning to fade away as he saw the brown dragon returning. He still had to watch out, he knew nothing about this new dragon yet...

The brown dragon was, withen moments, attached to Flare using his claws, launching a full scale lightning strike, that probably blinded anyone nearby, as Flare fell to the ground, nearly shocked to death. The brown dragon had ended up shocking himself, and collapsed as well, but immediatly started casting a healing spell to recover...

Nidhoggir withdrew from the area, though he could still see what was going on. He still needed to monitor that brown dragon, after all. He looked over to his beloved, and said "I think there might be a solution to this problem."

"It's a problem I won't be involving myself in" eclipse said, shaking herself slightly. Since the kids had lived to adulthood, she was losing intrest in both her children and her mate.

The brown dragon flapped back up to his caverns, and layed down next to Alzara, placing one wing over her protectivly, getting a pill out from under one of his scales, and giving it to Alzara. She swallowed it, though reluctantly, as she knew that it was his invention to rid her of her addiction...

Nido looked at his beloved for a moment, realizing that her maternal instics were fading. "Well, it seems you're getting more like a dragon, and I'm becoming more human." He said, not sure what to make of it. Though he noted the pill, and mentally examined it, seeing it's properties, and he nooded aprovingly to himself, for many more reasons that one.
