5th Gen The availability of Vending Machines within Isshu

I find it awesome and convenient, and obviously more realistic,
it also enforces the me that Isshu is based on New York...

In the United States... theres vending machines everywhere xD

Yeah mainly Soda and water vending machines. Some snack, but most I've seen were in public buildings and schools. Now variety of vending machines (like in Japan) aren't found here (from what I've seen anyways). And we already have vending machines for drinks in pokemon, so in a way pokemon games already have a dash of NY/Americanism in them. :surprised:

Oh? Extra vending machines? Exciting! Adds a sense of realism to it, IMO. Cos I mean, vending machines are pretty much everywhere in the real world... But it seems fairly convenient to just pop a lemonade wherever you are. But I don't think it could ever fully replace a PokeMart... but more diverse vending machines (like pokeball ones!) would be really cool.

I wish we could get deals off of the Vending machines like buy two get one free...

LMFAO, XD! Yes.

Once I get past the 4th or 5th gym leader, I begin to stop using vending machines. It sounds convenient but would anybody really use it throughout their adventure, especially when they need multiple lemonades for just one Pokemon?

However, if the vending machine were to... supply moo moo milk, then things would be a lot different.

I think the whole purpose of the vending machines being in every town/city is to promote the New York theme. Unova is meant to have New York's way around the city so the vending machines helps this cause in a convenient way. Although you might not need it all the time, especially if you buy multiple from the same vending machine, I think it is still pretty nifty so if you do happen to run out but like having them for your Pokémon more than regular pokémart potions, there will always be one around in the city or town you are in. ;)

I'm waiting for the English versions of Black and White, so I don't know much about this, but apart from the aesthetics of having vending machines they seem pretty pointless. Like you can just heal at the nearby Pokémon Center if you're low on health and buy potions from the PokéMart. Is there something I'm missing?

Well, I think it costs less and they're more common than Pokemon Centers/Pokemarts from what i've been hearing.

Can someone tell me wth is going on?
I never noticed any vending machine in White.

I like the vending machines, yes
I would actually be happy to see more, yes

They should also have different vending machines for Pokeballs and stuff like that.
Kinda like the Circus of Values, El Ammo Bandito, and Gatherer's Garden vending machines in Bioshock?
