"The Battling Eevee Brothers" Episode Discussion

Well, seeing as no one has actually said anything in your last three talkback, I guess I'll begin on all three of them.

I certainly thought it was a nice episode and quite entertaining. Also, I liked how they showed the different techniques of the Eeveelutions, such as Vaporeon "melting" into the water. IIRC, there was a reamke of this episode with Sakura in it. The boy though (I won't bother trying to remember his name) got on my nerves a lot. Just like a certain contest judge.

Meh episode except for - TR trying to use all 3 stones (what would happen?) and Flamethrower Jessie. Oh, and Eevee's cuteness.

I don't get the comment about the grasshopper

The whole idea of not forcing Pokemon to evolve is a little out-of-place for the franchise, considering how Pokemon typically get stronger and more mature by evolution, with a few notable exceptions (Scyther, Porygon2, Vigoroth, Trapinch). And of course, despite this message, Gary's and May's Eevees evolved regardless. Then again, I suppose that the Pokemon are supposed to be "real" creatures as opposed to JPRG combatants, but that still doesn't vibe with the contradictory notion of evolution being a sign of maturity and strength for many of the cast's Pokemon.

Eevee. I love this episode and I liked the Sparky brothers as well, they looked so awesome, but I wish Mikey had a less annoying voice. When I saw Eevee I was like... aaaawwww~! ^^

From what I remember, the boy either had the same voice as Snap or Richie, I can't remember

True, but you also have to remember the context, at the time. Pikachu's refusal to evolve instantly in the Surge episode was a good turning point and a nice counter to the "Evolution = win" line of thought. So, I see this episode as an extension of that.

Though, again, your point is valid, but this isn't the place to bring it up.
