gen 1 or 2, that was the time where youg ot the msot out of pokemon.

I really like them all. I really like 3rd and 4th. Hoenn made the jump from the old GameBoy Color that froze sometimes, to the colorful RSE on the GameBoy Advanced. 4th made another big jump by adding Wi-fi features, which we all love.

I really liked Gen 3, it was a nice region, and in my opinion some of the best Pokemon. Also, if Gen 3 didn't exist Gen 4 would be really sucky (which I like Gen 4 too; in order I like Gen 3, Gen 2, Gen 4, Gen 1)
