    Well, no offense, Grant. I just think that pokemon with human voices are scary...I mean, look at Digimon. That never worked out.
     
    Can't these people make up their own titles for their parody series instead of making it obvious that they're knocking off LittleKuriboh? It's bad enough that over a million people are imitating LittleKuriboh's idea, but for all of them to not even bothertrying to come up with another name for their videos and making it obvious...?

    If I was LittleKuriboh, I'd be PO'ed.

    CharmUp!, I assume you mean the use of the term "Abridged Series," right? I guess we could use "The Parody" or something, but that just doesn't have as nice of a ring to it. Besides, I freely admit that LK was an inspiration, and naming my series after his is an homage to him. I'm not blatantly copying him, I'm trying to flatter him with my spin off of his idea.

    And after LK MADE a video on how to make an Abridged Series, I took that as him being okay with the idea of other people doing the same thing.

    Thing is, if you gave it an original name that you made yourself; people that share the same opinion as me won't have the mindset of comparing the quality of the video as being "better or worst" compared to the videos where the name originally came from (hell, it might even be good as a standalone series).

    It's like Star Fox: Adventures being a great game on its own, but sucks horribly when you look at it as, well... A Star Fox game.

    Didn't figure people would just take off the "Yu-Gi-Oh!" out of the title and replace it with the title of another anime or something. I thought of it as a video teaching people how to make a good parody series. To be honest, most (not all) of the Abridged Series I've seen weren't very original and were just an extension of the comedy LK presented, or they just weren't funny.

    Not to mention the overload of Abridged Series videos coming out is really annoying. I remember typing in "Pokemon Ready Go!" on YouTube and the second search item was an Abridged video (don't remember if it had anything to do with Pokemon or not). o_O

    There's so many Abridged Series now, particularly Pokemon and Naruto, it's really hard to tell if there really is an original, to be honest. :|

    Of course, that explains why this one's actually funny. No idea-stealing here.
     
    I see what you're saying, Charm. I suppose re-using the term "Abridged Series" over and over again is rather unimaginative. Like I said, I do it to honor LK and the other Abridged Series that inspired me.

    However, you have a valid point regardless, and it IS annoying as to how many Abridged Series there are out there, especially Pokemon (haven't noticed as many Naruto, though). I see what you're saying, though.

    Also, kudos on the Star Fox Adventure reference. Been a while since I thought about that one.
