Oh I don't own my Dragoon or Driger anymore. Sold em two years ago when I attempted to get out of Beyblade. :3 I was such a fool!

Hmm Tala sounds wrong to me now. I'm a lot more used to using the original names.

I'm not from Japan. But, most of the time the original names are a lot more suitable.
Most dubbing companies don't borther to do their research.

True, "Tala" does mean Wolf, but it's Native American AND it's supposed to be a girls name ^^;. Yuri... I forgot what that meant, but I'm pretty sure that's a Russian name.

Let's look at it this way- the original names are more meaningful.
Almost all of them have some reference to the character, while the english ones are randomly assigned names that sound like the Japanese version.

Dragoon is a very very useful Bey. With Spiral Upper of Dranzer MS, it can be a good attacker combo.

Hasbro right?
Manual Change core of Dranzer MS is better in the Hasbro version. The tip is much wider. It has insane attack power.

Yeah, I suppose....lol it just sorta bugged be. Anyway yeah, definetly the hasbro versions, I think there always better anyway.

Composer, what would u say is the most powerful custom beyblade u can think of?

Problem is, there isn't any.

For plastic era, however, a certain style dominated tournements.

Zombie style.

Basically, these have two main attributes-
1) Spin stealing
2) Life after death

Spin stealing should be self explainatory, right?
Life after death refers to a certain type of last resort spin, where it continues to spin for up to 5 seconds after the sides hit the ground.

Tip must be free spinning bearing. The bearings must be tuned for it to function properly.

For free age tournement, however, these were countered with strong launches to KO them. There are only 2 ways to effectively kill a zombie.
1) Use a better zombie
2) Very very very strong one hit KO style

With zombies, you don't need launch skill or strength. You just need to tune your parts perfectly. Perfect balance to mantain position, perfect tuning, perfect amount of friction, etc.
Almost all battles with zombies are 1 or 2 second difference in endurance.

For HMS, there was a change.

With the introduction of Dragoon MS, Dragoon MSUV and smaller stadiums like Tornado Balance stadium type S, attackers became very powerful. It is really simple to KO opponents. What more, all bearing cores for HMS are glued shut. That means you cannot remove the bearings and tune them. This was probably done because the zombie style was getting too common.

With Samurai Changer MS and Jiraiya MS released, the battles are shifting to a balance between attack and defence. Attackers dominate. Defencers are the counter. Survival is the way to kill defence. A counter-counter.

Personally, I am a survival player at heart. But right now, I'm forced to shift towards defence as well to counter attackers.

My current favourite combo is an anti-upper.
