So hey, how about a thread for the greatest sci-fi series of all time? And the two movies that went along with the first two books.

You think they'll finally make movies/miniseries based on the last two books? I sure hope so.

I think those books would need the right type of director. "Classic" scifi novels like these often have these grand themes and stories without a lot of flashy action and you need someone who can make a good movie from that.
