    THE BLEACH CLUB


    Welcome to the Bleach Fan Club! This is a place where fans can get together and talk all about Bleach.
    You can share and discuss just about anything...anime/manga, gear and collectibles, cosplay, or fan fictions and fanart.
    So why don't you come and stay a while and we'll have some tea or sake.

    The series Bleach follows the story of a relatively average high school boy name Ichigo Kurosaki. I say relatively because he is able see the "souls of the dearly departed". One evening, Ichigo has a fated encounter with a mysterious girl named Rukia, who is in fact a Soul Reaper. To protect humans and help Rukia, Ichigo gains the powers of a Soul Reaper and is tasked with guiding departed souls to the afterlife and purifying hollows; spirits that have remained on earth too long and have become corrupted.


    RULES

    MEMBERS

    Alright, so here is the members list. When you first join you will be assigned to the rank of Whole.
    As a Whole you will be able to discuss topics in the club, post fanart or fan fiction, and even post you own zanpakuto.
    After you have proven that you know how to follow the rules and are relatively active, then you can ask to join a squad.
    It is up to the captain (or the highest ranking member) whether or not to accept you into their squad.
    After me, captains are the highest ranking members of the club.
    Each captain will be in-charge of their squad's page and the information on it.

    You will be able to create a profile to describe you own zanpkauto. But there are a few rules to follow.
    1. Do not plagiarize any canon zanpakuto.
    2. Please no all powerful zanpakuto, a little over powered is fine. We don't want any Aizens, do we?
    3. You need to use the form below to submit your zanpakuto.
    4. To change your zanpakuto, you must info me and/or your captain before hand to get our approval.

    Well you can join, but I can't make you captain right off the bat.
    You'll need to prove yourself before you can become a captain.
    But you'll probably be able to join a squad as a lower ranking member soon. :)
    It might be a good idea to include translations of names in the are in Japanese.
     
    Yes, those are the basic requirements.
    It will also be determined by the way you act in the club.

    Just a note. It might be better to put your zanpakuto description in collapsible text tags.
    I'll post mine after a few more members join.
     
    Okay, I put the info in collapsible text tags like you said.

    I'm currently working on my Zanpakuto's appearance, in both Shikai and Bankai forms, as well as her spirit form.

    I just drew my zanpakuto's spirit form, and her unreleased sword form. I'll work on Shikai and Bankai forms next. I'll upload them all once I'm done, but I'm taking a little break from drawing since my hands are a bit tired.

    Yes, the manga chapter for this week came out a little early. One Piece really came out early though.

    Anyway, I had quite a bit of homework today so I couldn't work on my zanpakuto. I'll do what I can to finish it in a timely fashion but I can't really predict what my teachers will assign.

    Oh yeah. I was gonna write a fanfiction but I have two different ideas and I'm not sure which one to work on. Can you guys help me choose?

    Idea 1:
    An alternate universe fanfiction based in New York City. The idea was inspired by the images from the newest ending theme, Stay Beautiful by Diggy MO'. (Don't worry, that ending song's images and lyrics contain no spoilers.) Anyway, I live in NYC so I think it would be an interesting story to write. I would use the characters shown in that ending sequence.

    Idea 2:
    A fanfiction based at the Soul Reaper Academy, with mainly original characters. It would take place many years after the Bleach timeline, and would be a school-life kind of story. I came up with this idea because I really enjoy school-life stories, and one of my favorite scenes in Bleach is the flashback to when Momo, Renji, and Izuru were at the Academy.

    So, does anyone have any preference or opinion on which idea I should write about? I'm open to ideas from anyone, though I can't promise I'll use them all.

    Also, would it be okay if I made some group banners for people's signatures?

    The user bar looks good, minchan. You have the go ahead to make more user bars. Once I have some free time from school, I'll make either one user bar or a batch of user bars for the club. :)
     
    Well I like the second idea better than the first :D and I love the our group userbar. We need to recruit more fans to the club as there are a lot of Bleach fans on this forum. Oh and we also need like a question of the week or something :/.

    I'm gonna start working on the one for squad 2 right now... Just because I can. LOL

    I want a couple more opinions on the story but I'll be keeping track of which one has more people interested in it. So it's 0-1 so far.

    Here are userbars for squads 2 and 3. They were actually easier than the first one, since I just edited the text, gradient, and kanji. Enjoy!

    I just drew up my shikai. I just need to design the bankai now. I probably won't get to it today, because I have a good amount of homework and I haven't actually started it yet. Hopefully I will have it done soon, so I can upload all the designs. I might draw myself in soul reaper form too, depending on my time schedule and my inspirations.

    By the way, I may or may not continue making these today. Don't worry, I will finish them. It just might take a couple days or so, depending on how quickly I finish my homework once I start it.

    I had a sudden inspiration for a bankai design so I went ahead and drew it up. I'll try to scan the images as soon as possible. Look forward to them!

    I've decided I want to add color to my zanpakuto drawings on the computer. I've finished coloring the spirit form, but I still need to color the unreleased sword form, the shikai form, and the bankai form. Anyway, click the spoiler below to see Tsuyokin's spirit form. If you have questions about this form, feel free to ask me! I'm more than happy to answer.

    The user bars for squad 2-5 look good minchan. They are all pretty colorful. :)
    I might take a little bit of time tomorrow to make a generic user bar for the club, since no one is in a squad yet, except for me.

    And I'm very interested in seeing your idea for a bankai. Speaking of your bankai, I think it's one of the first few fan made ones that I have seen to have a release command for the bankai.

    Well all we can legally do to advertise is to put user bars and banners in our signatures and hope people around the forum see them.

    And yes, a weekly discussion topic would be a good idea. I'll have in my next post that'll serve for the rest of this week and the next.
     
    Hey guys. I'm just about to scan my design for the unreleased form of my zanpakuto. I'll color it in Photoshop and then upload it.

    And about my bankai release command, I really wanted to make one, since, while it has many blades, (you'll see once I upload the concept art,) it's not really meant mainly for zanjutsu. It mainly functions as an amplifier for kido, and since kido have incantations needed to activate, I figure my bankai should have one too. Besides, Kokoro no Tsuyokin can still be activated without the release command, but it's ever-so-slightly slower and heavier, and its amplification of kido isn't quite as strong. (Again, you'll understand once I get to uploading it.)

    Are you guys following the manga or just the anime? (I don't want to give away spoilers!)

    Anyways Byakuya is my favourite character, my favourite arc was the SS arc and my favourite filler arc was the bount arc, purely because of how bad-ass Ishida got at the end when he was fighting Kariya!

    Also here is my fabulosa Zanpakuto design....you'll have to excuse my crude ms paint skills!

    Hey, Porygon-Z! I'm Min. Nice to meet ya! I'm liking your zanpakuto. ^_^ Your paint skills exceed mine. Hence my hand-drawn, Photoshop-colored art. XD

    Oh, and in case anyone is wondering, my favorite characters are Momo Hinamori and Toshiro Hitsugaya. My favorite canon arc is the Soul Society arc, and my favorite filler arc is the Shusuke Amagai arc, which is next to come in America. LOL

    Oh yeah, and I'll try to work on the userbars later, but I have them saved on my laptop and I'm not using that computer at the moment.

    Alright, I made a generic Bleach club user bar. I actually have two different fonts that I can't choose between, so I was hoping you could help me decide. And if you don't like the color scheme, I go back and do something different.

    And here's the discussion topic for next week...
    If you could have any one canon (this includes movies, fillers and games) zanpakuto as your own, which would you choose?
    I think I would have to go with Tosen's Suzumushi.
    It would feel the most like my own zanpakuto, and I like the option of having a non lethal ability to stop agitators.
