    Okay, I'm literally walking into the Count's castle here...

    Which game (apart from the DS ones, cause they're too easy) do you consider the hardest? Which is your favourite?

    Myself, I'm quite fond of Super Castlevania 4 on the SNES. I love the music, and it's quite easy to get to grips with, although hellish to finish.

    I'm literally hearing screams of frustration as my sister attempts the Dracula X Chronicles on the PSP.

    Discuss.

    DS - Portrait of Ruin (Dawn of Sorrow Was VERY easy)
    SNES - SC4

    The series has so many titles that I enjoyed playing, but Symphony of the Night for the PS1 was my all-time favourite, and it's quite simply the best 2D action-adventure title the console had to offer. Aria of Sorrow and Circle of the Moon for the GBA are honorable mentions. Castlevania Chronicles was probably the most difficult; the frustration of playing it was partly due to the sluggish controls. I appreciated the return of the classic gameplay style though.

    And yes, The Dracula X Chronicles's difficulty level and steep learning curve definitely isn't for everyone. XD;

    I liked the DS Castlevania games. Dawn Of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin are my favorite DS games.

    Overall, it has to go to Symphony Of The Night and Dracula X Chronicles. That game is hard and I managed to defeat Dracula in his three forms with my last life and just about no health remaining. One more hit would have finished me off.
