    The Challenge Begins...

It's a bright, Sunday morning. You're just about to go to church when you get a phone call. "Meet me by the forest on the edge of town at dusk. Don't be late." That's all it says. You decide to do it. And, obviously, keep it to yourself.

You're at the forest precisely 5 minutes before dusk. "Welcome...to the world of Pokemon." a voice says as you are pushed into the forest.

When you finally come out of the forest, you're not where you were earlier. You're staring out at a log cabin, you're standing on a small plataue. You read the sign next to you: " Eterna Forest< Route 205>." Wait, you think, I didn't go into that place. Where am--suddenly, you're picked up by a giant bird thing. But strangely, you're ok with it.

The bird drops you off in front of a building. "Shady Dale's Home for the Elderly: Jubilife Location" the sign clearly reads. You go into the building and find the elavator. There's a note on the panel: Press every button, then 5 again.

You do just that, and you're swept down. You come out in a room with nine or so others. Almost all of them looked just as baffled as you do.

"We have called you here," said someone in the center of the room and attention,"because you are needed. For a mission.

"There is a region to the south, the Manmei region. We want you, for your skills, to go to the region to help gather information on anything that you can find."

Someone in the room asks, "Where are we?" All heads go up, save one. All eyes were on the person who was speaking before. Everyone's expecting a well, thought out answer.

"Welcome to the World of Pokemon."

Here's an example(my SU)(my character was born in the pokemon world):

    Name: Lucius Acryl

    Age: 13

    Gender: Male

History: Lucius was born in Fuscha City, and lived with his mother, father and little brother, Mason. When he was seven, he recieved Leigh, the Mawile, and the first thing she did to him was clamp onto his head affectionately. They had so many good times in those first few months, but then he and his dad moved out, and they never saw the rest of the family again. Lucius grew into this, as he still had his mother's headband that he always wore, which comforted him.

After a few weeks of living in his new house in Pastoria, he enrolled in a Pokemon academy. On his first day, he met his future girlfriend, Alicia Samuel. When he was twelve, he and Alicia became...together, and that was only a year before, as Lucius remembered it, The Incident.

It was terrible. There was a tornado that hit the whole city. It took his house, his father, even Alicia. He had taken refuge in the basement of an abandoned Poke Ball factory. He ran, ran back to his house with Leigh to see if his father was OK. He got there, looked everywhere, but only found his father's black wristbands, his mother's headband and, last of all, Alicia's amulet, which was given to him on the day they met.

Lucius knew he couldn't stay. It would be wrong. He packed everything he could scavenge, put Leigh in her Poke Ball (like she hated), and set out to live...anywhere he could. But where could he go? Then he got the message.

    Looks:
Lucius is a larger teen, standing at 5'7". His hair is platinum blonde and is semi-short. He has deep blue eyes, his nose is small and his ears are fitting for his head. His skin is smooth and is a light khaki, and he is of an in-the-middle frame. He has dark freckles around his body and it is very noticeable when he blushed or flushes of color.

    Clothing:
He usually wears a white t-shirt, pale blue jean(short)s, black tennis shoes, and he always wears his dad's black wristbands. He might wear a blue-and-silver-striped headband that reminds him of his mother...he wears a sapphire amulet around his neck that reminds him of his girlfriend.

    Personality:
Lucius is calm, and he has no reason to ever cry. He usually spaces out or can be very grumpy. He is very serious and would rather walk around all day than sit and do nothing. He seeks alone time with his lifelong friend, Leigh the Mawile. He is antisocial and likes to strategize rather than play by ear.

He can be happy at times, mostly when he's dreaming of his family, his friends... He can also be happy as can be when Leigh cheers him up. He prefers not to be happy, though, as he knows he shouldn't. He is very persistent, strong-willed and demanding.

    Starter: Leigh the Mawile

Uniqueness: She is sliver in the places that she should be dull grey, she's aquamarine where she should be yellow, and her teeth are just pearly.

RP sample: I donhadda do dis! ;)

    Name: Heidi Appeldahl

    Age: 17

    Gender: F

    History:
Heidi was born in the sunny state of California to a couple of first-generation immigrants from Sweden. Thus, her parents seem to be rather naïve and clueless about the Californian way of life, much to their daughter's dismay, who in turn resents them for that. Heidi does, however, love her parents very much, and she is fond of going in constant hikes and camping trips, which has given her a lot of knowledge when it comes to survival skills. These, along with her natural leadership skills, and instincts, actually allowed her to scare away a mountain lion from a campsite, after another family had been careless to leave meat leftovers laying on the floor. She managed this by commanding other campers to mimic her and grab sticks with fire, proceeding to surround the beast, forcing it to escape the scene. Heidi gained well-deserved hero recognition in the park for it, not to mention an interesting story to tell.

    Looks:
In appearance, you could say that Heidi is rather… attractive, to be honest. She has very light blond, straight hair that looks almost white under the light of the Sun and runs down to right underneath her shoulders. She has very fair factions; light skin, bright, light blue eyes, a small nose, and thin yet smooth and supple lips that greatly complement her fair smile.

Heidi is also in great physical shape. She exercises everyday, doing things such as cardio training (i.e. walking and running), aero-kickboxing and yoga, thus gaining, not just a great body and physical strength, but also great flexibility. However, her breasts tend to get in the way of physical work, as she is in fact very well endowed, and her muscles are indeed compact, although not too solid… she likes her femininity.

Spoiler for measurements… 'cuz it's always better to know ;)

    Spoiler:

    Clothing:
Heidi is, in fact, very feminine, and prefers to showcase this by wearing very up-to-date and fashionable attires. Some of her personal favorites include daisy dukes, tight jeans, summer dresses (in the summer) high heels (when appropriate), and halter-tops… she just loves the bareback feeling. When she works out though, she'll stick to spandex shorts and normal t-shirts, as well as tennis shoes.

    Personality:
Heidi is, like mostly every other girl out there, a complicated b… person. She tends to act like a bit of an airhead when in reality she is very capable intellectually, and will suppress her own feelings or opinions in order to fit the role she believes that 'society' wants her to fill. Thus, she tends to act helpless at times when she is not and even so, she tends to act according to her own gut-feelings than to listen to advise she requested for in the first place! Not to mention, she is a complete and utter tease!

Heidi revels when under the realization that she is… 'wanted' by a man, and absolutely loves the attention from the opposite sex, although she won't let you know about it. Thus, she can be cruel, very cruel to guys who are interested in gaining her favor. When around girls, who she trusts, on the other hand, she throws away the façade of being helpless and her need for attention, and reveals a part of her personality that not many people get to see; her self-reprimanding and self-conscious self. I guess it's the hormones.

    Starter:
    [PokeCommunity.com] The Challenge Begins...(PG-13)
Tjock the male Gible (according to ze internetz, it means chubby in Swedish :))

    Unique features about your starter:
Gible is a rather big member of its species, standing at 2'07" and 'towering' over the average Gible by about 3 inches. He is also a 'shiny' variety; electric blue body and yellow underbelly.

    Name: Victor Martinez

    Age: 19

    Gender: Male

History: Victor was born in a small town in Arizona, to a poor family of illegal immigrants. Both his parents had jumped the border, six months before his birth, making him still technically legal. When he was young his parents were deported, and he was forced to live with his uncle in California. At school, he was being bullied, and had much trouble at his studies. He had little friends, and the ones he had were a bad infuence on him. At the age of fifteen, things had gotten out of hand. He joined a gang, and started selling drugs. Three years into "the business" were successful, until there was an "anonymous tip" that another gang was dealing in the same area. Five minutes into the fight, police arrived, and took him away, and incarcerated him.

A year later, he had nearly lost his mind. Victor is now in prison, and had killed a man. After his tenth nervous breakdown, he was given a phone call. "Hello?" Victor called. "Meet me at the edge of the forest at dawn..." answered a shady voice. "Hey, who is this? Wait, Who's gonna bail me out? Hey!" the phone makes a long tone. Victor slams his cell walls. "Victor Martinez?" said a gruff voice "some idiot bailed ya' out" the warden calls, and drags him out of the cell into the lobby "now get the [...self censor] out of my house!" After being kicked down concrete steps, Victor quickly gets up and runs for the forest. He pants. "Welcome to the world of Pokemon, Victor..." says the shady voice. "Wait what?" He runs angrily forward, and releases a punch. "What...?" His voice echoes...

Looks: Victor is very thin, as he hasn't eaten much in prison. Being incarcerated for such a long time, he's been toughening. He has a six-pack with abs. There are several marks on his body, as he has been fighting too much (ugh... I sound like the last guy). A tattoo of his initials inside a gem is made on his stomach. Most his body is a particular shade of brown, his hair being the darkest. His eyes are black.

Clothing: As a human, he has no shirt. Only his prison trousers are worn. He has chin piercings. A red bandanna is tied to his neck.

Personality: Victor's insanity can not actually be put into words. This attempt will probably fail. Anger controls many portions of him, but he will calm. As a human, he is crazy. He is otherwise an "eccentric" man. When he is not killing or carving shivs, he is thinking. Thoughts run through his mind throughout the day. No one could match his brain or will power, he is supreme.

    Starter: Sableye

Unique features about your starter: Instead of a light white color, his "eyes" are a bloodshot red. which carries on to the bottom socket. The side of his head is blue instead of being the regular shade. There is an iron dot on his new Pokemon forehead.

    Name: Moe Logroc

    Age: 17

    Gender: Male

History: Moe was born in Illinois, and was raised in the shadow of the forest. He learned about the various plant and animal life from his botanist father, who raised him to be a botanist as well. When he was 10, his mother showed up for the first time in his life and whisked him away to the desert to live with her.

In his new desert home, his knowledge of plants helped his mother open a shop, where he was put to work growing various herbs, berries, and flowers. He would often go to the desert, spending large amounts of time in the caves near his home. He learned of the rocks and mushrooms in the caves, and was interested in becoming a Scientist.

Moe left for school at age 14, leaving his mother to run the shop. He earned degrees in botany, geography, and entomology, and graduated as a junior professor. It was then he learned his mother had to close the shop for selling illegal performance-enhancing herbs. He tracked her to the city of Seattle, Washington, recieving a mysterious call as he went to to the Church to meet with her. He headed for the forest instead, leaving his mother to her fate.

    Looks:
Moe is short for his age, standing only 5 foot tall. He is thin, weighing in at 120 lbs. His skin is darkened by the sun, leaving him with a perpetually red color. His black hair is short and curly, and his eyes are brown.

    Clothing:
He wears blue scrub pants and black hiking boots, with a grey t-shirt. On the t-shirt is a silouette of a ferret above the caption "got ferrets?". He wears an orange Hawaiian shirt over this, and has a white handkerchief in the breast pocket. He wears a monocle over his left eye to correct it's vision. He has several replacement monocles, including ones that function as sunglasses (for one eye only), night-vision, and a telescope.

    Personality:
Moe is a calm person, rarely showing emotion. He knows he is intelligent, but doesn't lord it over people. He is content with the area of his expertise, patiently waiting for his chance to shine.
He likes to talk to people, but isn't very good at it. He has a habit of randomly saying things, and usually tells people how he is feeling during conversations. He is very curious, prone to wandering off and learning about new things with all of his senses.

    Starter: Spike the Larvitar (Male)

Name: Jenkin Saim (Goes by Jen)

    Age: 16

    Gender: Female,

History: Jen was born in the northern United States; Wisconsin, to be exact. Mother, father, and older brother. Big, happy family. She always liked it there, because if you got too cold, you could just wrap up in another blanket, and it was still warm in the summer. Her parents owned and worked on a dairy farm. Although farming doesn't pay extremely well, Jen and her family were very upper middle class, because her grandparents, before they passed away, were into real estate, which did pay extremely well. The family stayed humble though, with the majority of the money saved up for when Jen and her brother went to college. Even with that money, her parents thought Jen needed to learn responsibility, and had her get a job. She didn't mind, and it paid for her smoking habit. Jen worked at the McDonald's off the highway to get to her small town. Smoking did have risks, though. Like getting caught. Her parents only caught her once, and that's when she got her tongue pierced, to further illustrate that she did not care what her parents thought. After that, her parents started leaving her alone more often, to save themselves from another outburst, and to be ignorant to any other 'bad' things she was doing.

Wisconsin, for the most part, is very flat, plain, and boring. Jen didn't really have any 'close' friends, but was friendly, and well dressed enough that no one had a problem with her. There was always somewhere for her to sit at lunch, and to pass notes with during study hall. Even the occasional boy friend, but nothing serious. Jen just coasted through life without problems, or adventure. That was the problem with small towns. No mystery, no intrigue. Another characteristic of a small town is everyone goes to church. Secretly, Jen didn't really believe in any higher power, but every Sunday morning she got up early, helped her mom fix breakfast, then went down to the old, gray stone building that everyone held in such high regard.

One day, a Sunday, Jen over slept for church. Her family had gone on ahead, and her mother left a note saying: 'Tried to wake you up, but you wouldn't. Better have a good excuse,' Swiftly, Jen threw down the note and started dressing for church. If she kept up the pace, she'd make it just after the morning prayer, which, honestly, no one attends anyway. She was half way out the door when the phone rang. Jen debated letting it go, but her curiosity got the best of her.
    "Hel-,"
"Meet me by the forest on the edge of town at dusk. Don't be late." And that was all. Jen looked out the window. It was already bright outside. 'What the hell, I'm a big girl, I can skip church if I want to,' thought Jen. Although the thought of straight out telling her parents that she was done with church was one of the most appealing thoughts on her mind, she digressed and went to her bedroom, to feign an illness. At about noon her parents came back, and her mother, cautiously, entered Jen's room. Although she wasn't great at faking sick, she so rarely was sick, real or otherwise, that her mom always believed her. Jen coughed, looked faint, said I'm not feeling so great, the whole deal. Her mother shot Jen a sympathetic look then went to fetch her another blanket. One of Jen's few talents was that she could fall asleep within minutes.

It was about eight thirty when Jen woke up. The sun was just setting outside her window.
"S'almost dusk," she mumbled to the empty room. Then she remembered that strange phone call. Jen thought about ignoring it, but in a small town like this, what could go wrong? She sprang up, and after a second of dizziness, cracked her door open. The house seemed empty. Another note was placed where the other had been this morning. 'The Ross's are having Sunday supper. Feel better,' Jen threw the note in the garbage. Her mom and these notes was the way they most often communicated. It wasn't a system Jen particularly liked, but it was better than having a snoopy parent. She picked her shoes up off the floor and slipped them, leaving them unlaced. Jen was too keyed up to sit still and tie her shoes.

The forest was a familiar place, and if she wanted to get there by dusk, Jen would have to run. So she sprinted. It wasn't quite dusk; a good ten minutes before, so Jen lit up, pulling a pack of Marlboro reds out of her pocket. Inside the half full pack was a purple lighter. She lit the lighter and pulled it toward the end of her cigarette, inhaling. Jen let out a puff of smoke and took another drag, staying within the shade of the trees. Five minutes later she was down to the filter, so she tossed it down and stomped it out. Jen looked at the sky, and it was definitely almost time to... well she didn't know what. So she stood there, dumbly, at the edge of the forest. A rustling noise within the forest surprised her. Suddenly a voice was behind her.
"Welcome... to the world of Pokemon." and then she was pushed.

Looks: Jen has a thin, soft figure, which stands at about 5'3, and approximately 110 pounds. Even though she lived on a farm, she didn't do any of the work, and is very scrawny. Very. Her light brown hair is thick, and collarbone length. The part on her right side covers her left eye, and her bangs are cut to her jaw. Her eyes are almond shaped, with dull blue irises, that look almost gray. She's always wearing black eyeliner on her lower lids. That's the only makeup she wears. Her nose is rounded, which matches the rest of her very un-sculpted features. Behind her, usually smiling, lips, is a tongue piercing she got when she was 15. The piercing is a plastic, purple ball. Overall, she isn't bad looking, but there aren't very many who would be jealous.

Clothing: Jen's clothing preferences go toward comfort, rather than style. In the summer she tends to wear black basketball shorts with a purple tank top, and the winter is a pair of purple skinny jeans with a black polo. Purple and black are her colors of choice, obviously, and she really likes plaid things. And things that glow in the dark. Because of the unfeminine style of dress she has, her shirts tend to be tight, to show off what figure she has, to make sure you know she's a girl, even though her hair, always let down, clearly insinuates that. Black high tops are her choice of shoe.
Around her right wrist she has a purple, black, and white beaded bracelet, an elastic blue bracelet that glows in the dark, and a black pony tail holder. A tight black necklace, but not a choker, is around her neck. In her tongue is a purple tongue ring.

Personality: Jen is very evenly tempered, and hard to distress. She also has an over exaggerated sense of fairness and strives to achieve balance in her life. Other people overwhelm her, with their drama and turmoil in their lives, but she also finds it fascinating. If you have a problem, her love for justice will force her to help, along with the fact that she rarely lets people down. If you do get close to her, which isn't that hard, as long as you have a fairly steady and calm life, she's a fierce friend, who will usually go along with what you choose to do. Jen tends to forget her own opinions to please other people, and keep the peace. Because she usually has other people deciding for her, when a decision needs to be made, she becomes very indecisive. Although Jen isn't stupid, she certainly isn't making A's. She just finds school monotonous. And when will she ever need to know that when plants use sunlight to produce food it's called photosynthesis? Yeah, never. So instead of 'going to class' and 'taking tests' she'd toss her assignments and go to the small forest between her house and the school, to listen to music and smoke cigarettes. Oh, she loves cigarettes. Her parents were nonsmokers, but her older brother didn't mind letting her bum a few, as long as she paid. Some people thought of this as something only a bad kid would do, but if Jen enjoyed it, didn't she deserve happiness? She also went through a 'rebellious' phase, like most teenagers, but hers was very, very short. Being high maintenance was too much work for her. But during that time, she got her tongue pierced. Although done out of spite, Jen absolutely adores it.

Unique features about your starter: His face seems to look unusually cheery, for an Abra.

    Name: Jackson "Knockout" Vance

    Age: 17

    Gender: Male

History: Knockout was born in Texas, and even when he was young his family knew he was destined for great things. As he grew up he was always the largest kid around. Due to this he was always getting into fights with older kids that kept picking on him. He learned to hone his anger after learning martial arts from an older man. He eventually gained fame around his town when he got into a fight with the leader of the local gang. When he got the letter he thought it was just another person who wanted to fight. As he walked up to the forest he thought something was strange...

Looks: Knockout stands about 6'8" 200 pounds of pure muscle. He has short, sandy brown hair. He has brown eyes, and scars all over his body from the fighting. He also has a tattoo of flames that start at his right knuckles all the way up to his shoulder.

Clothing: He wears a black tee-shirt, and ripped up blue jeans. He has black tennis shoes, and black gloves with the fingers cut off.

Personality: He is a tough guy that has a very short fuse. He has never lost a fight. He as always loved the pokemon games, and only used fighting types. He is Brock-like in that he falls in love with any pretty girl he sees. He doesn't think much so he usually leaves thinking to others if he is in a group.

Starter: Kinu the Tyrogue. Kinu is always afraid, so Knockout is always trying to toughen him up

OK. Even though not everyone has their SUs here, I'll start it. Here we go!

    Chapter 1: The Challenge Begins

So, It's gonna work like this. I'll put the scenario of your next post, and then you go with it. I may post two scenarios at once, which means your first has to be approved before you post the second.

    Post 1:
You're leaving the retirement home, and the rest of the group is with you. "You are to head to Hearthome City and take the subway to Manmei. There will be a man standing in front of the Contest Hall," said the man that had hosted the meeting. "He will take you to the subway, so just do what he does and you'll be fine." He then waves you off and the group starts toward Hearthome City. Someone suggests that you go east, because that's where Mt. Coronet is. And when you go towards Mt. Coronet, you get across and to Hearthome.

While in Oreburgh Gate, you hear a strange laughing. And the next thing you know, the group is surrounded by four total strangers. A fifth appears. They're all wearing green uniforms, and they surround you. "And why, may I ask, are you here?" asks the apparent leader of the group. You say that you're just passing through to get to Hearthome City. "Well, not on our watch. We're part of Team Aero, and we're here to stop anybody from coming through here. Get 'em, guys!" And they attacked.

    Here's what happens:
    BATTLE TIME!!!
    [PokeCommunity.com] The Challenge Begins...(PG-13)x3

After the battle, you run past the strangers and someone leads you toward the Gym.

    SO POST AWAY!

EDIT: I'm really sorry about this being so short. ScootDumpling and I'll work together for the next one.

"Welcome to the world of Pokemon" Victor ran forward and released a punch. His hand hit a tree, making a loud noise. The bark chips off, and fruit falls. He lets out a loud roar. He then turns to see a large bird-like creature swoop down at him. It picks him up. After many hours, it's dropped him off at a large white building. "Shady Dale's Home for the Elderly: Jubilife Location... the..." Victor reads. He then begins to notice other people dropped off also by the birds.

After hours of non-descriptive dialog, Victor recieves a strangely colored sableye, a Pokedex and new "friends". A man asks them to head to Hearthome city and take the subway to Manmei. Another person suggests them to head due east, as it is where Mt. Coronet is. As the party nears the mountains, and the mass gets bigger, they see three strange men. "Halt, you may advance no further!" They send out large bat creatures "Go, zubat!" Victor rushes towards the zubat and tries to punch them out "super sonic that crazy man!" one of the strangers exclaimed. "Rawr! Go Santana!" he throws a Pokeball, and out from it comes the sableye he had recieved. He looks at his Pokedex. "Use shadow sneak!" the sableye blends in with the shadows, and rematerializes next to a zubat "Use erm... scratch attack!" sableye puts a foot ahead, and scratches a zubat. "Now use... okay... power gem!" its' eyes glow blood red, and a ray of light hits zubat. It lies on the floor, foaming at the mouth.

    (No wild Pokemon encounters?)

    Well...OK, Kid. Good.

As Lucius was leaving the building, he started leading the newly assembled team to Oreburgh Gate. "Yes," said the man. "Head toward Hearthome City. Search for a fisherman, and he will lead you to a subway to Manmei. Hurry. Don't want to be late..." His voice faded in the distance. They were up to the Oreburgh Gate. Five green-clad men marched out.

"Go no further! We are C Squadron of Team Aero, and we are here to ensure that no one exits or enters the premices of the city," one of the men said. "Go! Zubat!"

Three Zubat were out in the open. "Leigh. Out. Use Iron Head on them." He watched Leigh and someone's Sableye each take down a Zubat. But Leigh took out the third with her Acientpower. "Good girl, Leigh." The group tore through the Squadron, and they made it to the Gym. "What was that all about?" asked lucius as he ran inside to inform Roark of their run-in with Team Aero...

Moe had been following behind the group, examining the cave. This new world was truly fascinating. He instinctively grabbed his Pokeball when Team Aero showed up, and sent his Larvitar to battle the Zubat.

"Let's rock!" Spike lunges forward, burying the third Zubat in a Rock Tomb.

The group runs past the Team, recalling their Pokemon. "I didn't mean it so literally!"

As they approach the Gym, Moe falls back to the middle of the group.

    ((Hectic!))

Hey, the month isn't over yet! You have to give us all a chance!

    Spoiler:

Well, I wanted to give the people who were ready a chance. We can wait. Sorry, I had something come up and I had to do this early, so...I'm sorry. I sould've told you all. It just must've slipped my mind. I have to keep doin this early, but if you want it to go slower, I could have someone else help me...

Abdul follows the others to the cave, where she watches as the three in front step up to battle. She is impressed, wondering what else the strange creatures they carry are capable of.

As they arrive in the town, she finds herself standing next to Moe, who seems awed by the town. She looks around, not as easily impressed as the young scientist.

As the team stepped up and Team Aero appeared Knockout quickly released Kinu.
"Ok since those are flying types... Kinu use Rapid Spin!"
Kinu just stood there with a scared look on his face as three other pokemon took out the zubat.
"Kinu, next time we get'm no excuses"
He then followed the rest of the group, confused as to what they were doing.

Her head still in a daze, and heart still aching from what appeared to be the loss of everyone she ever knew and loved, Piper spaced out. She didn't realize that she'd managed her way out of the Old-Folks home until she'd heard that unsettling, familiar voice bark out directions.

"You are to head to Hearthome City and take the subway to Manmei. There will be a man standing in front of the Contest Hall,"

She didn't know this area, these people. How could she possibly trust that harm will not be placed upon her? It seemed serious - and what was that sitting in her basket? Again, her brilliant eyes dart onto the figure giving orders. Piper figured that it'd be best if she paid close attention.

The man began once more from where he paused, "He will take you to the subway, so just do what he does and you'll be fine." Without a moment, the man waves in a dismissal of the bunch.

"I'll be fine..." Piper whispered to herself, sucked in a deep breath, then followed the heard of sheeple. Her mind shut out the words spoken about going towards the Mt. she merely followed and merged deep into thought. 'Mother, I promise you that I will be strong, and return unscathed. Please try not to worry over me, I am a big girl now... And I am with adults.' She could only wish that her plea would somehow, magically reach their destination.

Returning out of her mind, she noticed that the crowd had stopped. "Hey, guys, why'd we-" her demand was short lived and cut off by dark cackles. She felt cold, ice-like shards rush down her spine, and crouched down to crawl under the legs of the others to get a look. She saw what looked like a gang, all wearing green. She immediately could sense danger vibrating from their profiles.

"And why, may I ask, are you here?" Barks out one of them in a cocky, hostile tone. A person within the crowd states that we're on a journey to get to Hearthome, but it seemed the villans didn't take nicely to that answer... "Well, not on our watch. We're part of Team Aero, and we're here to stop anybody from coming through here. Get 'em, guys!" Frozen in fear, Piper stays low to the ground beneath the legs of those she crawled through.

Strange mechanical spheres, much like the unidentified one resting in her basket, were thrown out. And in a flash of white light, three bat-like creatures wailed. The other people threw their Pokéballs out as well, each with their own little monster. Before Piper even had a chance to react, the Zubats were totalled. 'That was scary... But cool too, I wonder if everybody has little creatures like that' She thought before sprawling onto her feet and brushing off her little dress.

Smiling with awe and envy, she gripped her little white, woven basket and grabbed out the red and white ball. "Come out little guy, whoever you are!" She called out with wonder. The ball popped open and a little bunny sprung forth.

"Boon Buun!" It exclaimed with glee then pounced into the basket and smiled. 'Oh my goodness its so cute.' She thought, 'Much cuter than the other ones...' Much too quickly it seemed, the gathering was once again on the move and, with the Pokémon riding along, so began Piper.
