"The Champ Twins" Episode Discussion

uh....probally where there hundreds of other costumes came from...I'm guessing all the costumes come straight from James though.

...No, I meant "where did they get the reason to do so" as in, why did they suddenly come out in cowboy costumes? Usually, we at least get a reason beforehand. And, no, the camera wouldn't have been the reason for that specific costume...

Enjoy the comparison, and 4Kids left the script intact, actually.

And I didn't infer ship in that one as more, "get out of my face101010102!" It's what you'd expect when you hang around someone for a long time: bound to get on the nerves.

I'm also happy that they didn't go for ship issues here, too. Given the fact that the Haruka version of this plotpoint wasn't addressed until 72 episodes in, while Hikari's didn't hit even 30 (29th episode).

Says a lot about Hikari's personality, doesn't it?

I pointed out the shipping hints from the couple they were battling early on accusing Ash & May of being in love with each other.

Yes, indeed. Hikari also cares considerably more about her appearance, going along with that "teen girl" stereotype...

Ok, I missed it on Saturday, but I downloaded it on AVI and saw it on Blaze Media. I think this episode was cool, probarly a bit cooler then the Ash/May Double Battle, probarly because the champ twins were in sync and they really knew what they were doing compared to the duo thay Ash/May battled. Especially seeing as how Dawn as become a better trainer then before.

*coughSINNOHVERSIONOFTHEBICKERTHEBETTERcough*

My computer died so I couldn't watch this until yesterday! And I watched it in a LIBRARY. Embarrassing. But luckily no-one saw

Well, it was kind of different from The Bicker the Better...Dawn is better at being angry and in The Bicker the Better the rason Ash was getting angry was WAY out of character. Serisouly, he gets angry because May looks in the mirror at herself for about 5 seconds and thinks he's wasting time while he wastes a million episodes helping out pointless people and thinks nothing of wasting time. Yes, I think the place for Ash to get angry at people is in battle :)

I think that Dawn was better at battling than May. Well, I'm not sure better, but she was much more "in" the battle I thought.

Random note: There was a big head Ash. ASH. Like, when was the last time Ash got angry and had a big head? Must've been Indigo League while arguing with Misty, seriously

I thought that camera man was funny...and so were the random cow-boy outfits. But yeah, The Bicker the Better, honestly

They could have at least made an Ash/Brock double battle.

Grating Spaces, Battle Frontier.

More evidence that this show would be better with less, creative, or no team rocket.

I was supposed to do this one, but my internet connection was cut, Oh well, maybe the Pikachu filler.

I need to watch this episode again to really say anything about this episode, except the title was ripped from The Cramp Twins, which used to be on $Kids/FoxBox/CN/Whatever.

I was just reading through the Mailbag on the Offical Pokemon website and I just found this hilarious responce

Letter: I think Team Rocket are the WORST bag guys and I think its time for them to leave. They are so LAME.

Responce: Let's not forget, they do leave. At high speed. Through the air. Almost every episode, in fact!

That. Has made my day. LOL.

Yeah, kind of random but it kind of links in with Team Rocket should leave.
