As I awoke from the cold floor, I sat up and started walking down the forest. I did'nt pay attention to where I was going, I was too busy thinking about my Grandmother who died last week. A tear ran down my cheek as I remembered what happened when our next door neighbour told me about my Grandmother's death. Now I was all alone with no Parents to talk to and no Grandmother to take care of me. Just then I noticed three people sitting down in the floor. I stood there and watched them and I finally decided to join them. As I sat down I started to rest a little because of the long walk that I just had.

What... whats happening? Saphira wondered, trying to resist whatever was control her. She had no idea what was going on. She had sudently woken up, got dressed, and walked out the door. She fought the invisible force that was urgoing her on, but had no luck in overcoming it.

And owl screech overhead, making Saphira jump. The small lake beside her showed Saphira that her eyes had changed from a light, pale blue to a deep, sapphire one. She didnt know whether to try and run, or just let whatever was happening happen. Eventualy, Saphira found herself in a clearing, where a few other people were. She just stood there, eyeing everyone, trying to guess what was happening.

I awoke from my deep slumber to an invisible hand pulling me to somewhere, that for some odd reason, I knew I wanted to go. I walked out my front door and onto our freshly cut lawn, the smell of the mowed graas reached my nostrils and I knew that this was to be a peaceful journey.

When I finally reached wherever I was supposed to go, I saw people were already there, I dknowledged them, all thogh they looked pretty out of it, their eyes all flashing strange colors.

I was tired from doing homework for 2 hours. It was already midnight. 'This is like sleepwalking...' I thought as I shoved my books into my backpack and went to change into pyjamas. All of a sudden I turned and walked out the door into some woods. When I got there I almost freaked out. 'Either this was sleepwalking for real or I'm dreaming here..' was my first thought. I turn and started to run but a force seemed to be pulling me in....

I barely even noticed the others, so lost in the trance was I. Strange things began to dance through my head, arcane chants, odd hand motions. The knowledge of thousands of volumes of arcane lore seemed to be being dumped into my head. With a shiver, I recognized the use of one, a singularly unpleasent spell that drained the victim of life while restoring the caster's health.

My head was filled with light goodness. Things that I did not know much of. It showed me life giving spells and spirit spells. I felt happy but very alone it seemed as though hate was not in me. I felt no envy or anger or even fustration. It scared me I knew that with out though's thing I would not be human....

Everyone seemed ghostly to me. Having failed escaping this enchanted crowd, I thought I would like to find some things out to why I had sleepwalked here. If it was sleepwalking that is. "Ahem, anyone know what we are here for?" I asked in a small voice.

Things of a forgotten era began tumbling into Saphira's head, teaching her about the ways of the sea. Spells of healing, destroying, protection, facts that were lost, stories, myths... Saphira could hardly comprehend it all at once. Facinated, and a bit confused, Saphira stood there, just thinking about everything that had sudently poped up. A voice snapped her out of her trance.

"Anyone know what we're here for?"

Saphira shook her head, scanning the dark forest for whoever had spoken. "No." She said quietly, blinking a few times.

I snapped from my spell in an instant, feeling entirely at peace. I knew what I could do, to some wxtent. I had the feeling there was still more to learn, still more to discover. That I only had the basics down. I replied without emotion "No idea. I suppose we're supposed to be here, though."

Suddenly as I stood there strange yet very familiar images and invocations seemed to be shouting in my head. That went on for a while and then it was as if someone snapped their fingers right at my face. I kinda woke up from that "dream" and looked around to find other people there as well. I looked at them kind of confused and let out the only thing that was in my mind.

"Who the heck are you guys?"

I was feeling assured when people around me started talking, and responded, "Yeah, that was my question too, but then again, what's with all the eye colors?" I said as I scanned the group. Half of them were still acting kind of weird. I wondered what was wrong with them. Yet they all had strange eye colors. Then a thought hit me. 'Did something happen to my eyes too?'

Saphira looked around, the images of what she had just seen fading. "We have called upon you ten for a certain reaseon, a reason we arent quite sure of. We dont know what might happen, and we dont suposse you do either, but we assure you, you will find out soon enough." She said. But, it wasnt her speaking. She didnt know what it was. Definatly not her voice.

"You were posesed good for you!" Paige said in a dreamy tone that did not really have emotion. She stood up and seemed to float around though her feet were on the ground. "I think the things that posesed you were good though." Paige said smiling. She felt strangly sad and alone inside almost empty.

"Because we need heirs" said a voice through my own mind, cool and female. I felt my body stand. watched might have been a better word, though, I didn't have control of my body, nor did I feel attached to it. The voice continued "we are ten Chosen, given powers beyond your recognition. We have lived for centuries. Even we, though age. We need to pass these abilities on."

Saphira shook her head, trying to make sense out of this. It didnt fit. Heirs? Changing eye colors? Someone speaking through them? What was going on?! She didnt understand, and she doubted anyone else understood either...

I watched the others' faces and they seemed to be trying to ward something off. I thought it was some kind of sick joke but then I heard this strange voice inside of my head. "You have been selected along with your brothers and sisters." I shook my head and finally understood why the others were doing that. Voices. Voices in my head, at first it kind of intrigued me but then it was becoming more somewhat annoying. What's going on? I thought as I closed my eyes and tried to tune out the voices. "You have been chosen..."

We're... heirs of you...? Saphiar asked mentally, speaking with whatever was speaking back.

Yes... Your not related in blood, but in abilities. All of you have a special ability. It spoke back.

Saphira took a step back, leaning against a tree. What was that supossed to mean?

OOC: I shall just start of as though I was already in the circle XD please note that throughout, I'll mostly be just tagging along with you guys.

Confused, Nic looked around- he had better get back, and he had a lot of paperwork to settle before tomorrow.

He wondered how he had gotten here. Then, he heard that voice...

A man stepped forward into the glade, dressed all in white. He seemed old, but by no means frail. Indeed, power seemed to crackle around him. Bowing, he said "Please forgive my associates, most of them are quite given over to dramatics."
