Oh, openCanvas. It's fairly simple, though it depends on what exactly you need help with. :O

Yeah Fi, they're the same with me. XD; It gets annoying, but I'm just...not a great teacher with this sort of thing.

I do sort of go, "WHY DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND!?", in my head and realise it's probably because I fail at teaching. XD

It should be as big as you'd want it to be, to be honest. On most occasions it doesn't matter what canvas size you use since you'll be getting similarising results.

I prefer to work big, at about...4000 x 4000 resolution if I want a really clear and crisp look when I zoom out.

Do you use the default pencil/pen tools they provide you with (i.e. Spoon Pen, Drafting Pen, etc.) or do you use the former version?
