"well then we are just going to have to fight them there. Is anyone here at all good at battling?"

It was silent for a while. I couldnt tell if they could hear me or if they wanted to answer.

"But one thing still puzzles me. How did Team Rocket know about Elm's meeting. Wasnt it very exclusive? As well how do we know that Team Rocket knows the things Amanda here knows?"

Again it was silent. I decided to stop commenting about things they were saying and decided to go right back to training Slicer and Iris
 
OOC: It'a alright Blizzard. I really don't know where I am either. I got C_M to just drag me along while I tried to catch up. XD

IC: Kyra just let Mike drag her along. Her mind was deep in through for the moment. So much was happening. She was getting more and more confused. Cody stayed next to her as they walked. Finally she looked up at Mike. "Mike, where's Avi?" She asked softly when she could finally think straight again.

Her blode hair continued to drip slowly. She had gotten pretty wet earlier. Blinking she looked around for Avi or anyone else she knew for that matter. Cody looked around also. He really didn't seem to have the slightest clue of what was happening around him. Truthfully, Kyra felt like he never knew what was happening and that he couldn't think to straightafter running headfirst in to so many trees before all of this happened. Sighing, Kyra looked back up at Mike hopefully.
 
Cain then answer Mike's question by, "Well then we are just going to have to fight them there. Is anyone here at all good at battling?"

Mike smiled and said, "Yeah. Me and Char are great battlers. I don't mind knocking a few heads but still we need to be careful. Cherrygrove just had an PHT attack not too long ago and I sure we don't want to make the samething happen again. We just saw how far some member of Team Rocket will do to stop anybody in their way. Even to change a single person into a hybrid." MIke then looked at Cain.

"But one thing still puzzles me. How did Team Rocket know about Elm's meeting. Wasnt it very exclusive? As well how do we know that Team Rocket knows the things Amanda here knows?" asked Cain.

MIke looked up and thought about that for a while. He wonder how did Team Rocket found out about the meeting. It was suppose to be secert but then Team Rocket was secert in their ways. Still that was a good question too.

Amanda looked at Cain and said, "That is something I am not sure. I guessing they just found out." The machop hybrid was a bit confuse and wondering about that.

Mike was a bit unsure. He knew that something had to happen to leak out the information of the secert meeting. Mike then said, "Lots of things could have happen. The letter she sent was intercepted by them or they could have even been invited. One of their agents could have been undercover as a really good trainer and caught the attention of who sent the letters for Amanda." Mike looked at Cain as he trained his pokemon

Mike then heard a call from Kyra. The girl said, "Mike, where's Avi?" She looked worried.

MIke didn't know what to say. He didn't really have an idea where Avi could be. Still he didn't want Kyra to worry. He smiled a little and said, "I not sure where Avi is right now but I sure Avi isn't far behind." He hoped that would help Kyra not worry too much about Avi.
 
OOC: Hehheh, I was originally going to post something about Casi being a Ditto Hybrid, but I edited that out before posting... Ah well, you let the cat out of the bag before me.

Eve and Samara couldn't help but laugh out loud as the chopper exploded.
"You're... kidding... me...!!" Eve had a tough time saying this because she was laughing so hard.
<"Yeah,"> Samara agreed, looking around at all the chopper shards surrounding her and Eve. <"You'd think they'd be smart enough to know about type match-ups. Apparently they were so caught up with dealing with us that they forgot!">

Tiffany started to fall towards the trees below. She was curled up as if doing a cannonball, and a faintly visible shield was formed around her. But she didn't stay this way for very long--before hitting the trees she broke away from the shield and flew--not towards Casi and Bunch but towards Eve and Samara.
"Ouch, ow, ouch, ow..." Tiffany winced as small pieces of metal rained on her. She couldn't avoid these little chopper pieces, but there were so few of the bigger pieces that she could dodge them.

Eve and Samara finally calmed down--just in time to see Tiffany flying towards her. Eve gestured to Samara to keep following Casi and Bunch, then turned to face the Murkrow hybrid.
"What is it?" Eve asked.
"Heh, I figured the explosion wouldn't harm you one bit, you ghostly thing you," Tiffany commented. "Anyways, I saw Casi transform that last time. I saw that she turned pink before morphing into a Gengar hybrid."
Eve raised an eyebrow.
"Ohhh," Eve finally got it. "That makes sense! I was thinking of either a weird magician or a Ditto hybrid--now I know the latter is quite possible."
"A Ditto hybrid, you say?" Tiffany questioned. "Yess... that explains her turning pink, most definitely. Good reasoning, really."
"Okay, now that that was figured out, I have another plan. Hehheh." Eve smirked with confidence. Then she whispered into Tiffany's ear. When she was done, Tiffany smiled broadly.
"Yes!" Tiffany concluded.

Eve flew off to follow Casi and Bunch again. But Tiffany didn't do so--instead she headed back to Cherrygrove City. By that time, the falling chopper pieces were gone.

Phoebe watched the whole thing with her hands over her gaping mouth and a worried look on her face. For a moment she thought that the explosion would have done serious damage to Tiffany. But then she saw that Tiffany seemed to be okay--in fact, she was flying towards Phoebe.

"Are you all right?" Phoebe asked when Tiffany got closer to her.
"Fine, busy, can't talk now," Tiffany answered without looking at the Ponyta hybrid. She just flew over and picked up Happy with her clawed feet. She tried her best not to dig her claws into the Houndoom.
"Happy!" Phoebe called. "What are you doing with Happy?"
"Just trust me!" Tiffany replied, her voice fading as she flew away to catch up with the two Rockets.

As Eve flew after Bunch and the fake Xatu hybrid, she held Samara's hand. Samara was facing backwards, seeing how Tiffany was doing.
"Ban!" Samara finally spotted Tiffany flying towards them, carrying Happy.
"All right then," Eve whispered to the Banette. Then she let go of Samara's hand, and sped up. She flew right over Bunch and Casi till she passed them overhead, then turned around and started flying backwards. She took a deep breath (strange--she normally didn't breathe) and...

A song rang throughout the area. It was quite loud, and had an intense yet sepulchral melody to it. Any happy person who could hear it would have paused, then noticed the happiness quickly draining out of them.

Samara was flying behind Casi and Bunch when the song started. She stared at the two Rockets, a deeply menacing look on her face.
You cannot escape the darkest fate that now awaits you.

Tiffany heard the song faintly, but her toes were pressed firmly against Happy's ears. Her other foot held Happy around the middle.
I'm kind of glad I don't know what is escaping Eve's lips... Happy thought.

OOC: Ahh yes, Mean Look and Perish Song, the combo I love to have on my Misdreavus in Silver and Crystal...

**Yeah, I compared the explosion to the Pokemon attack Selfdestruct/Explosion... and they're Normal attacks... And my last post explains where Tiffany's "shield" came from.
 
AJ sighed and rubbed his forehead, why did his sister have to show up everywhere and try to take his job? AJ started to walk away but he knew deep inside he needed to take care of this now, it seemed Claire had the same idea as he put his 50. Desert eagle magnum, more of a miniture cannon to her head and she did the same to him, " You know, a 50. calibur round has been reported to blow a man in half." AJ said with a wicked voice.

Claire had expected this and she put her Colt Python to his head as he did the same to her, " Whats your next move?" she asks. " I know you wouldn't pull that trigger on your dearest sister... while your head is in the same predictument." She said with a sly smirk.
She watched as he put down the gun and she did the same, "Oh come on, this'll be fun. just like old times" she said as he gave her an icy glare.
She sighed as he walked away, her brother was troubled under layers of traumatic corruption and he didn't want her to help him.

I looked at Solice, who hummed cheerfully. She looked back at me and said, {Avi, I sense a presence in the forest just outside of Cherrygrove.}

{Really?} I replied quickly. {Kyr's probably scared I died from that thing...}

{Yea, she would be, I bet.}

"Avi!" Professor Elm spoke from behind me. "You're up; thank God! The others headed toward Cherrygrove in a chopper. I dunno if they made it yet or not."

{Cool, thanks.} I nodded, and Professor Elm smiled and walked away. {Solice, can you teleport us, please?}

{Yes,} she said with a smile. {I can't pinpoint their exact coordinates, but if they have set up a camp, we should be able to find them easily. Teleport!}

As we began to teleport, I felt a sort of out-of-body experience, and reneged back to normal as we arrived at our destination, just under fifty meters west of the group.

{Listen, I hear voices,} Solice told me. {Sounds like Kyr.}

"I'm not sure where Avi is right now, but I'm sure he isn't far behind..." Mike was saying to my east.

{That's Mike,} I said, my ears perking up. {Cain's there. Kyr too.} I followed the voice to my east, staying on all fours to keep up my agility.

{Kyr?} I called ahead of me, stopping a few feet behind her. {Guess who's back!} I continued, nudging her right shoulder and gently grabbing some of her hair in my mouth.

After flying for a bit I decided to practice flying straight up. When I did I noticed a hybrid coming towards us. It was a Quilava hybrid. Then I recignised him as Avi. I touched down on the ground and went up to him.

"Avi? Oh I thought you wouldnt wake up."

Then I waited for a responce and then I asked another question.

"Avi what took you so long? Didnt Elm's Full restore work? How did you wake up and have the ability to walk all the way over here?"

Whie the others talked about it, Yoshi thought about Team Rocket. He and his friends ended up tangling with a few agents a few years ago and remembered something one of them said.

'Team Rocket has agents working everywhere. They may look innocent, but the friendliest face can hide the most fearsome foe.'

Yoshi then threw out this possibility. 'What if those two were working for one of the Professors? Elm sent out letters to Professors Oak and Birch as well. They could have been working for one of them and asked to come to find out what was happening.' Just as Yoshi finished, the Quilava-hybrid, Avi, showed up.
 
Marina was tired. Dead tired. She yawned once before she opened the zipper of her tent. While the others were discussing the flute pieces, she had decided to set her tent up. It was a nice 3-persons tent, but Marina always managed to fill it up on her own. That wasn't so hard because she let out her Pikachu most of the time to keep her company at night.

"Finally, ready with the darn tent," Marina said to herself while putting her bag inside the green tent. She entered it after that and hung a small camping light in the top of the tent to see anything inside.

Marina let her Pikachu out, and grabbed her bag. She opened a small container. "Here you go, some food for you." Her Pikachu ate the pokefood with great joy and pointed to Marina's other pokeballs. "Off course they have to eat. But you also know the tent can't handle fire Pikachu." She then grabbed a few bowls and put food in 3 of them. She put them outside and let out her Azurill, Charmander and Blaziken. "Here guys, eat up," she said, and the 3 pokemon dug in. Charmander is fitting into the group already. This is great! she thought.

She reached back inside and grabbed her PokeNav and the chip she got from Mike earlier. She located the external item slot and put the chip in. Then she started the device and first checked the map. The group seemed to be on-route towards Violet City. Marina shifted back to the main menu, because she knew nothing about Johto actually. She saw the map containing data on the Flute and decided to open it. She browsed some files and read that there are 6 pieces, and that the completed flute must be played in a forest south of Goldenrod called Ilex Forest.

She yawned once more. It was time to go to bed. She closed her PokeNav and then returned her pokemon to their balls, except for Pikachu. Then they both entered the tent and zipped it close.....

[[OOC : If a person (not a hybrid, itll be a living nightmare for marina to be bothered by a hybrid so late in the evening) wants to bother her night, feel free to do so. There is even one spot left for some one to sleep ;) ]]

I dare Cain or Avi to go in the tent with Marina. haha. (Just kidding.)

Just remember what will happen to the user of Perish Song and the Pokemon and hybrids who hear it.

OOC:

"OH shoot!" said Casi. She heard the drealy song and began to lose strenght. She then made her eyes glow and said, "Future Sight. I just used it. You going have to go on ahead without me. There is a group of other agents up ahead in the hidden base close to Cherrygrove. You will be able to make there as soon as I faint."

"What is wrong Casi?" asked Bunch.

"That blased hybrid used Perish SOng. I feel the strengh draining out of me. It is becoming hard to keep going." She then looked back at the murkrow hybrid and Casi's eye glowed pink and then was shot at Tiffany making her glow pink. "Miracle Eye. THe Future Sight effect should come soon. That will disturb them long enough for you to escape."

BUnch nodded and grabbed three pokeballs. At once Casi fainted and detransform to her Ditto hybrid form. She was a regular human but with pink spots. Bunch hit one of the pokeballs against Casi and she turned red to hide inside the pokeball. (OOC: Hybrids can be captured but are MUCH harder to catch. Just something else about hybrids.) At once Bunch used another pokeball and release his Pidgeot. It flapped its wings and began to speed off leaving the ones following it to deal with a blinding light from Future Sight.

Mike looked at Yoshi and knew that he must be the knowledgeable person of the brother and sister duo. That must mean the sister, CK, was the main battler. That did make sense to Mike. Still if so that could be dangerous. He sat there quietly waiting for more information.

Amanda nodded and said, "If so then that could be a problem. Maybe the professors should consult their aids. If so then we are in trouble." The machop hybird nodded.

Mike then said, "Ok. What about our travel plans? I am thinking that we should try to avoid going into the main part of Cherrygrove if possible. If there are Rockets in hiding like Yoshi says then they be in the main part in big groups right? I don't want to bother them in case they do plan to stop us because I don't want to see Cherrygrove attack again." He thought that be the best thing to say. He wonder if the others will agree.
 
OOC: When is the next day going to happen? We have like 2 pages devoted to this one night.

Oh and that catching thing was cool

"So what are we going to do? Swim around using the sea or brave the forest that could have more rockets swarming around."

I had heared the one called Yoshi talking about travel plans through Cherry Grove. I knew that I could stealthly fly right around. But the others couldnt. That was a big problem I needed to solve. Very fast

"Wait why not let a few people go into the middle and create a distraction that would let the rest slip through unnoticed?"

I knew that it may work. I hoped it would since I wanted to be one of the people making the distraction. I wanted to kill all those rockets if possible
 
By now, CK had fallen asleep on Balos, who had fallen asleep on her lap, and wasn't taking any part in the conversation (not that she was, but that's beside the point). Yoshi listened to what Mike had to say about another attack on Cherrygrove, and Yoshi didn't want to see more humans become hybrids right in front of him.

Cain, on the other hand, didn't agree, and said 'Why not let a few people go into the middle and create a distraction that would let the rest slip through unnoticed?'

Yoshi looked at Cain and said 'Mike's right Cain. The Rockets we tangled with probably have an accurate estimate of how many of us there are, and they've probably already reported back to the group. If only two or three of us show up they'll know something's up.' Yoshi then noticed Mike staring at him, and wondered what he was thinking, but then continued.

'Besides, how are those people that are doing the distracting going to get out of there if they get outnumbered. There are more of them than there are of us, and Team Rocket is not a weak group, so there's no way just a few of us would stand up against all of them.'

Yoshi took a deep breath, as he felt like he was getting quite tired, but didn't want to rest until tomorrow's matter had been solved. 'I honestly don't know how we're going to get past them safely, I don't even know if it is possible, but I just don't think that's the way to do it. Sure there are a few good trainers here, but I don't think that five or six good trainers compares to twenty average trainers.'

{Kyra?} Someone behind her had said.Kyra felt someone nudging her right shoulder and nibbling her blonde hair. {Guess who's back!}It was Avi's familar voice.

Kyra turned to face Avi. She hugged him happily. "There you are Avi! I was so worried about you." She said softly when she finally let go of him. Her blue eyes sparkled happily. Kyra grabbed his hand just so she knew he'd still be there at least...for now. He always seemed to wander off to places a lot leaving her alone with the others.

Cody was behind Avi now. He headbutted him forward and in to Kyra. Kyra giggled when they both nearly toppled over. "Cody." She said softly looking at him.

Cody gave her some kind of an attempt at a full grin. Kyra just sighed and shook her head with a smile. Then she looked at Avi. "Are you alright?" She asked him with a warm, but worried smile.
 
{I've been better, Kyr. But I sure am glad to see you well.} I stopped chewing her hair and shrunk backward.

I looked back at Cody, who gave me a whiny growl. [Not my fault,] he seemed to say.

{Kyr, I, uh... I had Solice help me out in getting here. I'm still pretty weak right now, but I'm breathing and moving, thank God. Whatever that was that hit me, it knocked me out cold and damn near killed me. Sorry to worry you. I'm the last thing you need to lose right now, huh. Me? I have no one but you. Mum and Dad... Keiren too, all taken by Death himself. Mum by another's successful self-destruct, Dad by his own hands, Keiren by...} I looked at Kyra's scars from her parents' attacks. {Much like yours, only hers was fatal.}

{Avi, did you forget me?} Solice asked, padding up to a foot in front of me.

{No, I mentioned you,} I told her softly. {Thank you again; I swear I'd be dead if you weren't around.}

{You're welcome. I can't stand to see you suffer, though...}
 
"Oh Avi...." Kyra said taking her hand and gently stroking his cheek with the back of her delicate, tan fingers. "You have suffered greatly since I've seen you last." She said softly as the wind blew through her blonde hair. Her gentle blue eyes seemed sad yet still friendly.

Cody was getting ready to headbutt Avi again when Kyra whipped out his pokeball and returned him. She then released a rapidash. "There...she won't headbutt you." Kyra smiled at Avi slightly. "I'm just glad you're alright." Then, Kyra lowered her gaze to meet Solice's. "Thank you...for keeping Avi safe...I don't know what I would do if he left me again...."

AJ had started to walk back to where the other's were, he didn't like the fact that his sister was joining the group and he really didn't like the fact that she was going to try to get him back with her after this. He was almost at their 'camp' before he remembered that he had to 'take care of buisness' he had forgotten all about the reward left here in the forest from his last mission, thats why he had been glad they had to meet here. AJ started to run to the edge of the forest, he kept running even past all the pokemon wandering. He finnaly reached a large oak tree and reached inside a hole retreiving a clothed treasure. he stuffed it in his bag and went back to camp. He saw all of the member, well almost all because some were asleep or atleast away in their tents or sleeping bags. AJ growled, these people were amutuers and it looked like some may be annyoing.

Claire had gone back to camp after her encounter with her brother, she had talked to a few people asking how they felt about this whole situation, none of there answers were very interesting. She then found the girl she found before, Kyra was it? or was it kyrie? Sighing she went up to the young girl and tryed to look as nice as possible. " so, how do you feel about this whole thing?" she asked her.

Mike notice that Avi had joined the group and it looked like Kyra was happy to see him. He was glad that the group was now up by one. That means more people to help.

Mike thought that sounded smart but still there was the risk of others getting involve. Also what if Mike was wrong and there were no Rockets in Cherrygrove. It is a smart idea but still it had some risk.

That did sound good but still Yoshi did understand what could happen with Cain's plan. THis was proving be a diffitcult thing to figure out. He could se this could end up badly.

AManda looked at the dark sky and said, "It is getting late. How about we table this discussion for later."

Mike agreed. This was proving to be a big problem. He then said, "How about we all go to sleep. Maybe we can come up with better ideas after a good night sleep." He was hoping that they will agree because Mike was trying to avoid a fight between members of this group.
 
Yoshi wasn't angry at all, even though it may have sounded like it. He was just feeling a little desperate, he didn't want anyone getting hurt badly, and was trying hard to think of ways to avoid it.

Then Mike said 'How about we all go to sleep. Maybe we can come up with better ideas after a good night sleep.' Yoshi nodded. He didn't know how much longer he could stay awake, and felt like he just wanted to drop right where he was.

He gently shook CK and whispered 'Wake up, come on wake up.' but she merely stirred. Yoshi shook his head and said 'Looks like I'll have to do this the hard way. He took out a Pokeball and released his Typhlosion. Yoshi carried his younger sister to a spot not far from a tent that had been set up, followed by his Typhlosion who was carrying Balos.

The siblings didn't have a tent, but never felt they needed one. Yoshi set down CK, set up their sleeping bags and tucked CK in. Typhlosion set Balos down right next to his trainer, then curled up between CK and Yoshi, who had made himself comfortable. It didn't take them long to fall asleep, and Typhlosion's body heat kept them warm the whole time.

"Okay fine. I might feel better in the morning."

Now sleeping was a very different thing to a skarmory. Since I didnt feel all that comfortable on the ground I flew up a tree to sleep there. I had hoped that in a tree no one would bother him. I had noticed immediatly that there was a hoothoot in the tree with me. So eventualy after ignoring the hoots from the owl pokemon I dozed off.
 
Azaria stretched and yawned as she leaned her back against a large sycamore tree. In her preoccupied state she hadn't realised that her compainion Marin had long sinced left and although annoyed, Aza had quickly gotten over it. To her it was just another normal part of life. She had her Pokemon for company and that's all that mattered.

She had no interest in finding any of the crystal flutes peices, but would agree to help if asked. Besides, with no lead on anything or the other's whereabouts she couldn't even begin to help.

Instead, she had made her current home in a blue tent deep in the forest and had planned to spend most of her time alone with her Pokemon. Although, she did feel almost guilty about doing nothing.

Sighing, she grabbed one of her Pokeballs and opened it to reveal the creature inside. Her fiesty Pikachu Kerauno emerged from the ball. his face silently demanding an explanation. Azaria smirked slightly at the mouse's facial expression and quickly explained the situation.

When she had finished started to explain her problem and small idea.

"Just go find one of the others. I've already described a few to you, so you should have no trouble. You're pretty good at regonising people if you see them enough or get a good description."

The Pikachu puffed out his chest proudly at the comment, causing the auburn-haired girl to giggle softly and brush her fingers lighlty against his fur before coninuing on.

"Try to stay out of trouble. I feel guilty doing nothing, but I had no lead on where to go or what to do. We'll wait for you and we'll be ready."


(OOC: I'm trying to get my character back on track with everyone else. X_x)
