The Crystal OOC

Probably a stupid question --> Is it too late to join?
Nope. You will have to find a way to chach up to us though.... I'll think of something.

Flames, is it too far fetched if the village we're defending turns out to be Marc's home village?

No... I bet Houndoom would be happy watching it burn :P

That's really nice, there, Flames. :|

Yeh. :)
What? He's an evil pryro.....

Also I have two more RP ideas, and am just now posting this beacuse I have forgotten to tell you the last 10 days -_-

1. Were pokmeon <- And you get infected/ hunt them

2. Futeristic and you battle this guy (in the spoiler) <- two warring factions, like this one. One will be all futeristic and crap, and the other will be stuck on the dieing surface, and trying to kill the futeristicly people.

I think both of them are good ideas.

I agree with seal, those are pretty awesome ideas.
I'd sign up for them.

Hehe, they would be much like this one. Hunters/ Weres. "Cival"/Groundys.

Rules would be the same, and I would post about the same. The only differance would be the plot line. I'll wait for this to die/finish/get killed by me, before starting another one up. I'm thinking the were one next. :P

Let's hope this RP doesn't die. Finally, I hope my post wasn't a disaster.

Your post is fine. I want to see a picture of that. It would look cool :P

Seph's post was a little out there, but I dont want to be strict, and ruin people's fun, so I'll let it pass.

There was somthing else I wanted to say.... Hmmm o well....

Was it about the fact that according to Seph, Molotov Cocktails existed in 800 (or whenever the rp's set in), I just hope it was an awful spelling mistake.

No it was the whole moral thing. Seph is so full of himself :P

Molatoves could be made, wine bottle, cloth, fire..... sounds simple enough...

And also the Knight does appear to be Mr. Perfect Knight.

Other than being too perfect what faults does the White Knight have?

Ahhh, yes the other thing I wanted to say. Jen's SB seems to be stronger than others. Leon can be away from Kabutops, but when they're near, it affects his personality more. For Jen there is physical pain. Maybe beacuse Spoink is a psycic type :P

Is it really? I didn't intend... eh, maybe I did. :)

I'm going to put that down to Jen and Spoink being great friends before the SB, and Jen's vulnerable state during the SB (it happened when she was unconcious and having hallucinary memory-dreams, after all).

I likened it to the bond between human and daemon in His Dark Materials - most specifically, the scene where Pan pulls Lyra towards Iorek Byrnison using their bond and Lyra feels the pain in her chest and Pan continues to pull.

Later, I might do something like when Lyra and Will go into the land of the dead and Pan and Kirjava are left on the banks. Their souls stretch so much that Pan can now travel huge distances - like a witch's daemon.

I ♥ His Dark Materials.

I do not ♥ the film they make of the Golden Compass. Yeah, way to murder a great book... - .-

Zoned out.... oh hey look ^ Golden Compas, I saw that movie! Interesting idea, decantly exictued (only beacue it was not cheesy beyond belife like most "kiddy" movies are).

NO.
Anyone who has actually read the book, The Golden Compass (Northern Lights here in the UK) will tell you how unbelievably bad the film is in comparison. They gave all the Oxfordians plummy accents despite their rough accents being clearly decribed within the book, they made Lyra and Roger's relationship thin and shabby, they thought that getting Daniel Craig to do Lord Asriel would be enough, but he didn't match the character enough. Nicole Kidman looks nothing like the Mrs Coulter described in the books. (At least, how the books let me imagine her). The Golden Monkey was not vicious enough. Large parts of the plot were cut out inexplicably and detracted from the arc of the storyline. Iorek Byrnison was given GOLD armour. GOLD! It's explicitly stated in the books that bears only use sky-iron for armour, apart from Iofur Raknison, who does wear gold but only because he has been corrupted by Mrs Coulter to wear it. As I remember, the bear-daemon part was cut from this part of the film too, as was the battle finale, in which Iorek Byrnison reveals that his injury had been mimed and actually rips Iofur Raknison's lower jaw off. Also, as I remember, the ending from the book of Roger's death and separation from his daemon causing a huge energy spike that rips open the pathway to the world of Cittagazze and ultimately leads the way to the beginning of the second book, was cut - I can't clearly remember as I could not bear to watch all the way to the end. Plus, most of the religious connotations were removed from the film due to their controversial role within the books, meaning the General Oblation Board's motives were thin and unbelievable.

It was terrible and I will not hear a good word for it.

(Oh, but they got Stelmarina spot on. Y'know, apart from the fact that she was SUPPOSED to kill Roger's daemon at the end but, y'know.)
